Because if I'm going to lecture someone on the law or any other topic, I'm either going to know what I'm talking about from years of experience, or I'm going to do a quick verification that the information I'm spreading is accurate.

i'd expect anyone else that calls himself an expert would do the same without trying to wiggle out of being wrong.

Section 707-714.5 Criminally negligent storage of a firearm only comes into play if the firearm wasn't stored and the minor accessed the firearm. It would not apply if a burglar under the age of 18 broke into your home and grabbed a firearm of yours though.

So this would apply not only to a minor burglar, but one who trespass, unauthorized entry into a dwelling, etc.

What he knows and what the truth is don't always coincide.  He just wants to argue over the smallest details rather than admit he was wrong.

He doesn't care if the attention he gets is positive or negative, as long as the topics revolve around him.
