Beer rotation never used to be a problem for me in my younger days.  Nowadays, yes.  One or two leftover from a family get together that I asked to have.

I don't drink anymore but once in a great while I'll imbibe in one.  Or two.

There's two sitting in my fridge looking at me every time I open the door.  From last Easter family gathering.

Saturday is National Naked Gardening Day

It's also "45 Day" to celebrate the small vinyl records.
But I don't have any photos of small vinyl records so this is the closest thing I could find.....

National NO DIET DAY

Ha, ha, I celebrated it one day early.  Yesterday I caved and bought beef brisket at Times.  Whoo hoo!  So ono.  I made sure I concentrated on eating the fatty parts and the bark.

Maybe I should cheat for one more day........

Your brain is made of fat. Therefore eating fatty foods will make you smarter. Fat is also a lubricant. Therefore a diet with fatty foods helps to keep your body moving freely due to all the extra lubrication. Furthermore, ample lubrication helps other things things move freely...like your innards. No need for harsh laxatives.

I should have been a doctor.🤣

We celebrate "Night-Shift Worker Day" today.
Because I did night shift and overnight shift for many years.
I would hit the wall at about 3AM every night....

Because I did night shift and overnight shift for many years.
I would hit the wall at about 3AM every night....

Note: there was no father in the home, just mom and her parents.

My mother worked 3rd shift at Cannon Mills (textile manufacturing) for many, many years -- 11PM - 7AM.

Basically, there was almost always one of the adults in the house when we were there.  Worst case, we were "unsupervised" for maybe 30 minutes after mother left and before grandfather or grandmother came home.  We were usually asleep then, but sometimes we stayed up waiting for someone to come home.

Third shift made it possible for the three of them to have at least one adult in the house 99% of the time that we were home.  Not saying it's the only solution, but it was what worked for our family.

LOST SOCK MEMORIAL DAY

Sorry... I lost the picture of the sock.

I did an experiment after noticing I was missing a sock the last 3 times I did laundry.

I put an odd number of socks in the dryer.  Result:  an even number came out.  Happened 3 more times.

Finally, I kept my washed socks out of the dryer and hung them in the shower to dry.  As I was folding that load from the dryer, I found a note:

Send more socks
