I recently used Modern Warriors. They charged me no tax and free shipping to FFL. I called them though to make the order. Done initial contact through email. Then called them to do the order. From order to when it got to FFL, 4 days..

Reloading / Good powder for a comp pistol?
« on: March 18, 2024, 09:47:36 PM »
What is a good powder for a comp pistol in 9mm? I’ve read around using certain powders to maximize the comp. Like a +p load or something. Slow or fast burning powders? I don’t know, cause I never did reload for pistol before. Only rifle I reload. But I figured I like try so I ordered the dies already since components is available for pistol now. I’m not competing or anything, so I’m not worried about pf.

Legal and Activism / Re: Emailed permits
« on: March 18, 2024, 09:36:57 PM »
I went in last week Thursday for pta pistol and long gun. They ask me if I wanted it to get emailed. I told em I’ll pick it up instead. So I had to sign that I denied email and opt to pickup instead. So my pickup is next week Thursday. I got there by 7:45, paid for 1 hr parking. Got back to my truck by 8:20. Still no one else came to apply that morning. Never seen like it like that before. No line whatsoever.

Orgs like MDA, ET, Brady are all silent so far. Guess they only care if a gun was used.
They should google "Mass knife attacks". They'd be surprised a whole list of knife attacks comes up. But yea, they only care if a gun was used. Heck, they don't even care about the victims. They just use the deaths as a example as to why guns is bad. Guns is their only narrative. WhY? MONEY!! Gun control is just plain and simple a money grab.. Nothing else they care about. I swear we have one of the most strict gun laws in the nation. And we all comply, yet they still wanna fuck with the gun laws more? Sorry guys.. goin off topic. But murders like this make's me angry. We don't know this family, but after seeing the picture, my wife even cried.

All this SB3196 bill and/or any other f**kn bill our lame ass legislators/ senates wanna pass will and would not prevent any of this kind killings from happening. A person can do harm even with barehands. When bad things like this comes our way, the only life line we have atm is self defense. Oh wtf they thinking? They think evil will wait while we call the cops?

fkn! evil asf! Burn in hell you dick! That's what we all been saying for decades, guns, knives, stone, automobile, bare hands, nuke, etc. These don't do didly squat to do killings, it's a evil minded person...

I wonder if we should send our senators the link to this post? Would that be a bad idea? I mean it's all good info here.

Probably off topic, but do you think it’s not a good time to buy any firearm right now? Since this bill is just like being forced passed even with all our testimonies to our senates.

General Discussion / Re: Tacoma or Frontier?
« on: February 11, 2024, 11:42:58 AM »
I think they still goin offer the V6 if you no like the turbo. But turbo these present days are low maintenance and reliable. I have a 2018 Tacoma pro in stick shift I bought brand new.. Good fun to drive. 1st and 2nd gears really get it going. I don’t know about the automatic version. But man the new ones coming out looks sweet. Especially the 4Runner. I say get one ren. Frontier? Eh, aright I guess. Anyway buy what you like and enjoy. On a 2nd note, put super unleaded on these trucks. I notice plenty difference going from the plus to premium.

That’s probably the only way they’d come back at the top, maybe. I think $399 for the new LR would be appealing.

I will keep using my Labradar until it croaks. Who knows what will be on the market by then.
Compared to the Garmin my Labradar feels like carrying around a brick cell phone.
I am sure Labradar has taken notice of the competition and are working on the next better
mouse trap. I love devices that use easy to get batteries like AA's.
LR recently announced a new model. https://www.snipershide.com/shooting/threads/new-labradar-lx.7204264/  From the looks of it, one must still aim the unit. While the Garmin just eye balll em, and done! It just friggin works.. I put my LR in the storage already.

I actually kept the original box. Just added a piece of velcro. The cardboard material is pretty thick. It even fits a battery bank under too.

HGS is $175 per. That’s include range. Bring your own firearm and ammo. Me and my son signed up the other day.
