if this happened in Hawaii and criminals are stealing your brand new 2003 Toyota Tacoma - lifted. Hawaii doesn't have stand your ground and the news will probably say the criminals were just trying to provide for their family with your Tacoma.

Does the Mayor have a security detail? Does he CCW? Lead by example. If Honolulu is so safe that he feels no one should be able to defend themselves he should heed to that as well.

Off Topic / Re: Lahaina Fire

After Eight Months of Lies, State, Corps of Engineers Finally Admit There are no Toxins in Lahaina

CB: … The latest scientific findings mark a big shift from the early days after the fire when many feared  (chemophobia was whipped up as an excuse to keep Lahaina property owners away from their own properties, by hyping fears) that toxins released from burned buildings, cars, boats, gas stations, electrical transformers and fallow agricultural lands may have left behind a dystopian landscape of cancer-causing poisons…  (It worked, causing hundreds to leave Hawaii and making the next stage, eminent domain, possible.  In the end, Lahaina will be converted into Wailea v2 surrounding the ‘Venice of the Pacific’ water feature.)

It’ll be some time before final conclusions are drawn but early results are encouraging and could hasten Lahaina’s (so-called) recovery (without its previous owners). Just last week state health officials said the ocean around Lahaina is safe for recreation….

IQ Test: Did you ever believe them?

Wind-whipped flames that tore through Lahaina on Aug. 8 created an urban fire so hot it not only melted glass, but it appears to have resulted in the complete combustion of many chemicals, rendering them inert.

“The dioxins were not even at levels of concern despite this being a town that burned down,” Takesue said last week.

Molten glass found after the blaze suggests temperatures exceeded 2,700 degrees Fahrenheit. That’s higher than waste incinerators, which usually burn at between 1,800 and 2,200 degrees, according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

“What happens is that the chemicals either totally volatilize and get transported through the atmosphere or they get destroyed because the temperature is so high,” the U.S. Geological Survey scientist said.

(REALITY: Hawai’i Free Press has been telling you this since the very beginning.)

I suppose I agree with the license part.
But having seen how much Native Americans have destroyed
hunting and fishing in WA state for "subsistence food".
I disagree with the rest.
You ever see  a Puyallup  Indian passed out drunk, with a station wagon full of netted salmon.
on a hot day?
Non Indian limit is two.
He had over two hundred, rotting.
They get first shot at the harvest.
Respect for the land and nature , my ass!
 :grrr:

Native Americans were well, NATIVE! They have an indigenous right to the spoils

Is it your belief this guy really didn't know a scope is supposed to magnify things instead of demagnify things?

I have no idea what is really going on, just making observations about the photo.
Notice how the lines on the handguard do not match up, these should be relatively parallel.
Also notice the two circled areas of the scope. It looks like the rear bell is under the image of the narrower front of the scope and the front has that protrusion which matches the front of the Trijicon the guy posts for comparison.

someone installed the RAS wrong. Obviously you are not familiar with the RAS/RIS but instead focused on spurring an argument of "what ifs" with no rationale. There is a pivoting tab that goes under the gas tube. It's common to have the tab not engaged UNDER the gas tube which results in the upper rail misaligned with the receiver.
The VCOG's objective is backwards. The ocular is in the front. The VCOG in the image is a 1-8 with a Larue mount. The mount's levers are on the right side if mounted correctly. The image shows that the mount's levers are on the left.
