OGC Tactical / FFL email question
« on: July 06, 2021, 06:37:49 PM »
Anyone who used OGC FFL service before…

Did you get a download link in the checkout confirmation email? I just requested/“checked-out” and I can’t seem to find it in my confirmation email. They’re closed tomorrow and figured I’d ask here before waiting till Thursday to call.

Also, can I just go ahead and make my online purchase since I was told by one of the workers there that the shop I’m buying from has them on file already?

Thanks 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽

haha just posted in a similar thread in the Firearms and Accesories section.

Yes, for all my handguns I have a few boxes of hollows for HD and more boxes of FMJ for the range. I might run a mag or two of the hollows just for practice sake but never an entire box.

haha thanks macsak but luckily I was able to find some safariland comp II speedloaders on amazon. picked up 3 at about $15 each.
I have 2 rifles but my home defense guns would be my handguns. That being said I'm not brand-specific but I buy hollow points for the home and FMJ for the range for all my handguns.

For me it depends. When I'm all by myself, it's loaded with one in the chamber ready to go. When other family is in the house, it's in the safe, with loaded mag next to it and empty chamber.
Just going for the X-Ring gurls.

If I find a .357 Mag wheelie, I'll take it.
Maybe a a new .177 or .22 air rifle

I know I saw one on the far left side when you walk in. I believe it was a stainless w/ wood grip S&W 357mag 4" barrel. It was pretty pricey too, looked like it was $800, then changed to $900. Hope you found another one for cheaper though.
got there late due to a dentist appointment but I was able to avoid that crazy line. Only thing I had in mind to definitely buy were speedloaders but didn't see any. Ended up buying 2 Ranger Up t-shirts from Mojo Tactical and a Ka-Bar TDI knife (forgot the vendor's name though). Almost bought an Arisaka but was scared off by ammo availability.

Does anyone know if there's anywhere locally that sells revolver speedloaders? Been looking online and no one seems to have the S.L. Variant "spring loaded" speedloaders. I'd even be willing to settle for the older/manual HKS twisting speedloaders.

When I went to Honolulu Firearms to use the range the guy couldn't get the ammo out the safe cause the battery was dying lol. That one instance is what turned me off to electronic safes.

I've only shopped at OGC, X-Ring, and Security but all 3 had great service. Would recommend any/all of them.

I just recently bought a "Stack On" 14-gun safe from Sports Authority. I was originally planning on getting just their 8-gun "cabinet" but decided to drop the extra cash for more security, combination lock, and more shelving. Definitely glad I made that choice. Liking it so far.
