The Christian Science Monitor has an article that places most of the blame on sugar tariffs, not unions.  It didn't help that the top executives got massive pay raises AFTER the company declared bankruptcy, of course.....

Well who ever got twinkies now sell em becuase once Hostess restructure and make more twinkies the value of twinkies will drop. Just like the Assault weapons ban.

I blame eBay's free listing special for the insane buy it now "deals".  But then again I'd never underestimate the ignorance of some buyers. I'd bet some fat guy, with anxiety issues over the news, bought this: WTF?

Problem is that they dont make em like they use to.  Get a fresh sponge cake and fill it with real whipped cream filling and there you go. Not the preservative gunk they sell now a la zombieland,...
