Anyone ditching hemostatic gauze to go with plain gauze?  My quick clots are expiring and I got four to replace.  Ive heard the same as the video, regular gauze does 90% of the job at 10% of the price.

This is pretty much true as proper placement and pressure are key (in regards to wound packing with rolled gauze). I would advocate getting the important stuff like CATs and chest seals from reputable sources and sourcing your gauze rolls and pads from whoever can give you a good price. Although triangular dressings are not as "high speed" as CATs, you can still make effective tourniquets with them as well as utilize them for a ton of other things, so there's still a place for them in your kit. Also, don't forget space blankets, because clotting factors drop when body temp goes down.
