My son IS a cat!

She seemed to be complaining that even though her son identifies as a cat, the vet refused to treat him because of his human anatomy, which she saw as a form of discrimination.

The mom said that because her son said that he’s a cat, he is one and should be treated like one.

Cool. Put him outside and let him forage with the rest of them.

the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.

Have him neutered.

If he refuses then euthanize him.

Bye bye, cat.

If the mother wanted to get rid of her son, your advice would make some sense.

Unfortunately, she's enabling and affirming his delusion to the point of trying to force a veterinarian to join her in this fantasy.

Insanity must run in that family.

This is what happens when you let a man ID as a woman and a woman ID as a man. Charlie Kirk warned about things like this.

This is a result of dumbing down kids so much that they took, "You can be anything you want to be," way too literally.

Neuter or put the cat down.   It's sick.

Excellent!

... but I don't think we have to worry about it mating with anything (except itself), so can save money on the spay/neuter part.

I think if you take away all Internet access and their electronics, this problem will fix itself.

The Web is like Donkey Island from the Pinochle story.  Tempt the kids with doing whatever they want, and they turn into jackasses -- or in this case a cat.

Hey mom, feed your son rats.

If he refuses, let me know.  I'll make sure it gets shoved down his throat.

"here kitty kitty..... open your damn mouth.  eat this rat, cat." ;D
