What if the Attoroney General starts a special 2A task force?

HI has been getting worked in court for the past few years.  Now with Bruen ruling, what if the AG starts a special 2A cases only branch?  Cause so far the attorneys representing the state look dumb.  Especially the HI attorney for the 9th circuit 3 judge panel.  After him, HI had to hire a big dog attorney (former Barry atty)  when it went to the 11 judge panel.

Then the recent Yukutake reply was basically lots of hearsay with no supporting facts when the state was trying to justify that HI gun control went back over 100 years.  No sources were sited.

So knowing almost all of HI's laws will be challenged, it would be cheaper to have in house attorney's.

Hawaii has only been a state since ‘59. The reason they can’t/don’t want to cite any sources is because those laws were probably enacted by the Republic of Hawaii shortly after the overthrow of Queen Liliuokalani or the Wicox rebellion.  They probably prohibited Non-American citizens from owning firearms. You know, just in case they got funny ideas about trying to restore the monarchy.

There was another time in US history we fought a war with ourselves and in the end one group prohibited the ownership of firearms by another group out of fear of reprisals…I forget.  I’m sure it’ll come to me.  (Sarcasm)
No one is coming, it’s up to us.

Legislation should never be about depriving law abiding citizens of something, but rather taking those things away from criminals.

Go ahead and set up a 20 attorney task force.   Create jobs for our people.  Raise taxes to cover it.  I am sure all the anti gun folks will be happy.

that's the problem with our local mentality...grow more govt. and then people wonder why our living costs are so high. People here don;t think about how we pay for govt. and think its all money from a unicorn farm. If we had a competent AG office that wasn't working AGAINST the people a task force like this is not needed at all. How about a task force designed to fight political corruption? Shame ah when the Feds have to come in and clean our house?
