I never heard of them before until recently while I was lurking on 1911forums
seems like they make high quality 1911's.  price is up there with Wilson Combat and Nighthawk Custom
build a custom 1911:  https://www.guncrafterindustries.com/no-name-government/
you could build a one of kind custom 1911
too bad I can't afford one of these, but maybe one day.....
but I could afford the .50GI Glock  :geekdanc:

That's a lot for mostly cosmetics.

I have to agree.  Cosmetic enhancements are overpriced.

anyways. I was referring to the amount of aesthetic work and hardly any mention of fitting slide to frame or what kind of frames they use. Caspian frames are used by many well-known 1911 smiths like Ed Masaki.

there's a lot of great reviews of GI1911's.  most say they are comparable to Nighthawk Custom and Wilson Combat.  the owner of GI used to work for Wilson Combat, also the owner/starter of Nighthawk used to work for Wilson Combat
there's a lot of 1911 aficionado's that rank the GI 1911's as one of the top tier 1911's being made
they have a lifetime warranty no matter if you are the original buyer or not, and their CS is said to be great
there isn't much marketing done by the company like Wilson or Nighthawk, so many don't know about them, but seems to have great reviews from those who own one or more
