I have so many eggs I give them away.
Down side is chicken shit all over the place.
Home grown chickens are as tough as shoe leather
so slow cooker is a necessity.
I'm a hobby farmer so I have them all over the place.

That chicken shit is valuable stuff if you compost it. We mix it with banana stalks and wood chips, let it sit for a couple months, and the plants love it.

I can't find the vid, but theres a guy getting kicked off a plane and before leaving he's looking psycholy at another guy saying "you're that guy". He's wearing a hat and a New England Patriots jacket IIRC.

On the second video.
I have all the mill stuff he does.
and then some.
The bread you make will be way heavier
than what you are used to from a store.
I won't BS you on Health crap,  It keeps you alive.

But eat it fresh on the day you make it with
lots of butter and French toast it
with honey or sugar the next.
sugar and honey lasts forever.

Here in my Hawaii dry ice isn't very available so vacuum
pack and freeze once you open the pail.
Solar powered freezer kind of helps.
Don't trust the power grid.
Look at the present civil war in Ukraine.

We cut the white wheat berries with some red.
If you're not used to eating freshly milled wheat, start by cutting with reg bread flour or your bod will go into "shock" (think MRE) same as with most other "Healthy foods".

We have a Country Living Mill. It has a motor but can be used manually.
Probably burn more calories by doing it manually than you produce.
I did hook it to a bike one time which  made it much easier.

Everything is then vac'd and sealed in Mylar with dessicant.

Chickens really paying off now !
Back in WI, eggs are $10 per doz.  :shake:
