Yes.  Lots of places are shutting down.  And the governor has proclaimed emergency status.

BUT THE SCHOOLS ARE STILL OPEN........make it make sense please.  I thought they didn't want people out and about.....

Stupid government.

We need Augie.

Augie is great👍
I met him at a party, then ran into him at Walmart, then ran into him again at the gun show last year. His brother did work on the elementary school by my house.

Man dies after cutting off his own ....
==≈========
A man died early Saturday morning in downtown Los Angeles after allegedly self-mutilating near Figueroa Street and Pico Boulevard; he was pronounced dead at the scene, according to LAFD and LAPD.
Police responded to a distress call around 3:40 a.m., and video from the Citizen app showed a white privacy tent set up as authorities investigated.
The victim’s identity, motive, and whether mental health issues or substances were involved remain unknown, and officials have not said what tool was used.

Yesterday I loaded and shot a lot of 200 gr.swc with 5.0 gr of dup5. Mixed brass, rem 2.5 primers. I borrowed a Garmin radar chrono. 5.5"barsto bbl.
They clocked 790 fps av/ sd=26.
Again the deviation was kind of high, but not worrisome. Accuracy at 25 yards was pretty good. Not too shabby for free 80 yr old powder! Since the can is only a half pound, it will be gone in a few months.

All sides with any level of sophistication are also cranking up their LLM bots to pump out disinfo and propaganda. That’s just part of life now.
....
For those people who don't live on the internet,  here is what LLM is:

LLM commonly refers to a Large Language Model, which is a type of AI designed to understand, process, and generate text.

“There’s no property that’s worth anybody getting hurt or losing their life over,” said Hayakawa.
....
Your lawyer friends would tell you the same thing.

Here are my thoughts on the situation....
I keep a few dollars with me all the time just in case some crackheads attack me. The idea is to offer the crackhead some money to go away.
If they take the money and leave, then you just skip your next plate lunch.
If they persist in coming after you, then draw, look for your front sight, and put a couple rounds center of mass then immediately call 911. Then your honest testimony would be, "I offered them money to leave me alone but they kept coming...I was afraid that they were going to kill me."

That's just my opinion.
