Being this is Hawaii, the course is 6 years long, offered at one school, and the waiting list is forever.

Strategies and Tactics / Re: what if Hawaii was invaded?
« on: January 26, 2012, 10:01:25 PM »
I mis-spoke when I mentioned Honolulu as a target. It was Honolulu county, which is pretty much all of Oahu.

Foot don't taste good.

Google "primary nuclear targets map" for unrelated but decent info.

Funny you mention porn, I read an article once claiming that Hawaii was the number 2 state for porn demand. Utah was number 1.

The bill doesn't look like it will fight cyber-crime, but rest assured your two years of visiting pro gun websites like 2aHawaii will be quite the rage if your ever dragged downtown.

Eh, shuddup!! :)

Ok, I admit I was being a little sarcastic with my comment. The part about nuke targets came from a research paper that listed all the possible targets the Russians would hit in the event of nuclear exchange. Honolulu was listed as a tertiary target.

Here's the thing tho...Hawaii was important; back when ships ran on sail and/or coal, before planes could fly non stop round the world, before labor laws and unions and the constitution put an end to profitable agriculture.

Nowadays, we have tourism and Inouye, pretty much the only reasons why anyone has stuck around, including the military.

Hawaii has no resources, therefore it will not be invaded, ever.
Hawaii produces nothing worthwhile to justify invasion.
Hawaii is not targeted by any countries ICBMs.
Even terrorist could care less about Hawaii.

On topic, the best way I see to stop/resist an invasion would be, to not write letters, but to form community militias now.
