First, we, the citizens, may have a right to comment about another country, i.e., Canada or Greenland, but we have no right to speak for Canada, Greenland or Denmark.

If you believe that there are enough Canadians to hand over control of their country to the CCP, you must be drinking too many diet cokes, like Trump. Visit Canada and speak to real citizens to ask them their reaction to tariffs imposed by the U.S. vs. China. Canadians feel betrayed by the US.

IMHO, the US handed over its manufacturing base to the CCP starting with Nixon and Kissinger.  Most fat cat US capitalists have sold their country to the commies, and these rich men are laughing their way to the bank, 24/7.

You are on to something here.  Canada, like the US is fooling/controlling their citizens via the fake news.  I have seen in my Vegas FB groups that they're all saying the same thing.  They won't come to Vegas due to Trump and the tariffs.  I would say about 80% who post about why they're not coming state this.  The other 20% say it's cheaper to go elsewhere as the Canada dollar is weaker here than other places.

Besides taking their massive censorship infrastructure into account, it’s important to examine which provinces those sentiments are coming from. Resource rich Alberta pays everyone’s bills but gets no respect. B.C. Is full of Chinese real estate gangsters. Ontario is attacking our border with fentanyl and illegals. Nova Scotia banned people from walking in the woods because Climate Change. The Quebecois are just now starting to figure out that the English aren’t their greatest enemy.

On the bright side if you don’t like being impoverished to the point of starvation by tyrannical clowns then a doctor can always write you a prescription to kill yourself

Stinging indictments all, and all true.

As “Progressives” they’re desperately trying to drag humanity back into - and right through - the dark ages.

I forgot to add that on top of the tariff reason, Canadians are under the impression also that

Americans hate them
They will be arrested for entering the country legally

FOCUS
I said
"This could be seen as a middle finger to Trump but I have also seen it explained as a gesture that NATO countries do take seriously obligations to protect NATO territory in light of criticisms that they don't do enough for European defense."

I made no statement of whether they were taking things seriously.
Reading comprehension is hard.

Well said Macsak. If Denmark or Nato had taken care of matters, Daddy Trump would not have to
step in with a heavy hand. Denmark had promised to spend millions more on defense but they did not.

It is amazing how Trump can threaten and talk big and tough and MAGA will justify every argument Trump makes and then when Trump backs down MAGA then believes it was some master class at negotiation. Why parrot his dumber talking points if you really knew it was an act the whole time?

Wrong, as MAGA doesn't back up everything he says. Most recent example "you cannot protest with a gun".
