Political Discussion / Re: They ran out of fake news to report

i didn't think Teslas had actual trannys.  https://duckduckgo.com/?q=tesla+transmission&atb=v314-1&ia=web

i guess the Tesla transmission could identify as a traditional tranny.

 :geekdanc:

How dare you say that tranny's don't exist with Teslas.  What if a Tesla chooses to identify to have a tranny.

NPR ran a story on how the admin is looking to replace Pete.  Again, Pete is the focus for some reason.  The WH released a statement that that's not happening.

NPR claims a "source" told them this.

I just so happen to listen to NPR this morning and they stated that conservatives are blaming tranny's for the Tesla damages.  I've never seen 1 person blame that community.  I have seen them blame liberals/DNC supporters, etc...And I have seen 1 tranny damaging a Tesla.

I guess Tranny's are out of the spotlight for this moment and create a reason to be back in discussion.

Agree that stuffing yourself just so you can "get your money's worth" only ends up in most people feeling miserable after.  For me, getting my money's worth is the ability to try different types of foods sort of like a sampling menu that some restaurants offer.  Fill up by trying small samples of a variety of foods.

I wish some buffets would offer some cuisine from India.  I never tried Indian food but would like to try it.  If I try a sample and don't like it at least I didn't waste food.

I tried bubble craps before but it was sorta meh.  But I think I'd like to give it another try.  There are some interesting strategies on Yoo Boob that would piss off the dealers and players at a regular craps table but would be perfectly fine with bubble craps.

An interesting thing about bubble craps is the dice have "monopoly" type shapes.  Their edges are rounded out, not like the sharp edges of regular craps dice.  I often wondered why this is so and the paranoid conspiracy theorist in me suspects the AI of the machine can sense what the dice will land on as the pad vibrates.  While the sharp edges of regular casino dice guarantees a random roll, maybe the rounded edges of the bubble craps dice make the outcome more predictable.

Of course that's just my opinion.  Many times after I hit a big win I seven out immediately after.

I think there's an Indian buffet in Mandalay Bay.  It's a restaurant that offers a buffet.  I'm not 100% sure if they're still doing it or if it was at MB.

I'm assuming The edges of the dice are rounded so the dice can rotate more.  Since the bumping isn't that strong, a straight edge would have less rotation upon landing.  Compare this to a human strength of throwing a dice.

The downside of bubble craps is a 1099 for any profit over $1200.

The upside is it's a quicker game and you can wih in 30 seconds and then leave.  You can play at your own pace and it pays you to the penny, so you don't have to put $6 on the 6/8; you can put $5 and it won't round down. I also see more DP players playing this.

Which news organization broadcast this? When?

I don't remember, but it was the one that had Jon Abbot from HIFICO talking and showing a rifle and mag. IIRC, Darryl Huff was holding a M14.

Communist State.

The head chair of JHA (Tarnas) said on the news that this isn't a "gut and replace" bill and that it followed it's proper channels and can be successfully defended per the AG's office in court.

The additions are so huge that it didn't get any senate committee hearings or public input on it.  Instead, the senate head chairs, who are anti 2A will get to decide if it's OK (Rhodes and Elefante).  Others may be present, but IDK.  If the vice chair for JDC is present, that's Gabbard and he has been a friend to the 2A.  I'm hoping he would bring up the major concerns if he gets a voice. The senate PSM vice chair is Wakai, who's anti 2A. So Gabbard would still be outnumbered.

Is there a public session for this sense senate did not accept the bill?

No. It's behind closed doors and not broadcast.

Even though NV is ranked #5, they have lots who are also moving in. I think Koyosaki is basing this of home listings. In NV, about 46% of homes listed have zero offers. This excludes condo listings.  This tells me that buyers are holding until the prices reduce more.  Home prices went up about 30% in 2020 when CA people were moving into NV and bidding wars were happening cause "it's cheaper than CA" was their mentality.  So now the market is stabilizing and going down.

Compare this to HI, where there is no "correction".  Add in maint fees for condos.  I saw 1 listing in Makiki that's been sitting for 2 years now. A 1200sq foot unit is going for $250K, which is unheard of. It should be going for $800K.  But then I looked into the why, their maintanance fee is like $5K.  So your mortgage, plus an additonal $5K a month.  Means you can buy over a $1,000,000 house. So why buy this unit.

My BIL would always do this in the past.  Then get mad at us for not helping him eat all of it.  We told him countless times to stop doing that because we like to take our own food.  Not to mention none of us ever told him to do that.  He meant well but after telling him a few times you would think he would get it.

Now he tells us he doesn't care to do buffets anymore.  I tell him "ok, bye. see you later."

I get why people try to "get their monies" worth at a buffet.  But I tried this once and didn't enjoy the buffet.  Not only was I thinking about money and ruining enjoying the food, but I overate and felt like shit after. So to feel stuffed on vacay when you still got a lot of things to do sucks.  So for years now, I eat what I want, even I "lose money".  I've been enjoying the buffets much more and don't feel like shit after.

For the Palms lobster buffet above, I only had 1 lobster tail as I'm not a huge fan of lobster, but wanted to try theirs.  I also took 1 snow crab claw at Baccahnal and 1 bite. I didn't like it. I wanted to try it without having to order it from a regular menu and spend lots.

We're going to Vegas soon and checking out Border Grill in Mandalay Bay.  It's a made to order all you can eat.  I want to try Chile Quiles (sp?) for the 1st time as I would never spend my own money to order it.  This AYCE has been around precovid, so I'm glad to see they're still doing it.

Bubble craps machines are appearing more and more at casinos.  Even the airport has it (not Terminal 3 yet, the Hawaiian Air terminal area). And crapless craps also.

It's not always each person getting more than they themselves can eat.  Sometimes it's everyone loading up the table for all to share even though not everyone wants to gorge themselves on crab legs or lobster.

But the people trying to record content by annoying the businesses and other customers need to be trespassed and kicked out.

We ate at Palms shortly after this vid was made.  THey're very strict now. 2 per person on a plate with no lobster on it. You're more than welcome to go back to your table and drop it off and get a new empty plate.  But I'll say that most will eat first as why get up again, they won't run out of lobster.  While I was making my rounds, I saw a few people complaining about this.  And all where "Karen" looking women.  The manager in the vid was also there too and dressed in similar clothing, which is unusual for a buffet manager at an average buffet.

Palms had also just increased the lobster buffet to $80 or so.  I won my Royal Flush that paid $5K and also paid for my 2 friends who live there and were joining us.  They had to wait for me to finish my tax form, so I figure, dinners on me. I thought it was still $45.  Then since Mrs. CMO has Diamond Status (top tier) cause they messed up on her card and gave her the Diamond card by mistake, we didn't have to wait in line for the buffet either.  This is the real only perk of Palms top tier status. I mean, you get free valet, but the lot is right next to the casino and very close, so it's not really a noticable benefit.  Other top tier rewards give you money for airfare and pick up/drop off at airport. Palms doesn't do this.  So it's no wonder why their high rollers aren't as abundant as other casinos.  Add in you're far off strip too.

So much Chinese themed slot machines in almost every casino, whether they cater to the Asian demographic or not.

Never been to RW, and don't feel I'm missing anything.

If the Downtown properties are smart, they shouldn't mirror what the Strip is doing.

And Plaza and El Cortez should open a mid-tier Buffet.

And Golden Nugget should re-open their Buffet, make it a premium Buffet.

My opinion, of course.

THe most recent downtown buffet and only one open is Main Street's one.  But it looks like shit compared to what it was precovid.  At least Plaza has 10X odds and single zero roulette.  They also have a good bingo trounament going often. Not daily, but often enough. Seems like only Plaza is doing what they can to bring in gamblers.

another thought, see how they set up the mic's for him.  This further shows it's a coordinated attack on our 2a.  Has HIFICO ever been given a bunch of mic's on a stand?

David Berkowitz, aka Son of Sam serial killer, was an Army veteran.  He committed 6 murders and inflicted injuries on 7 other victims.

Gary Ridgway, aka The Green River Killer, was a Navy veteran.  He was sentenced to life in prison for 49 murders.

Jeffrey Dahmer was an army veteran.  He killed 17 men/boys and was convicted of 15 of them when sentenced to life in prison

Timothy McVeigh was a decorated Army veteran who served in the Gulf War and Operation Desert Storm.  He murdered 168 people and injured more than 600 others in the OKC bombing.

While i see military service as a positive thing, it by no means gives anyone special status in civilian affairs -- especially when it comes to them attacking constitutionally protected rights such as the right to keep and bear arms.

Being a veteran doesn't make any gun control advocate less wrong, just like military service doesn't make serial killers and mass murderers less wrong.

U left out Lee Harvey Oswald...oh wait, he didn't shoot JFK....oh snap. #noteverythingisaconspiracy

In all seriousness, this is very good info and an angle I never thought of before. I may mention it in testimony next year cause the vet always brings up that he's a vet.
17
Is he a real Veteran?
Did anyone vet the vet?
He may be real or he may be just another phony prop of the left.

A google search suggest that he was in the Army and flew a helicopter.  Unknown if he was honorably discharged as I never googled that.

InB4 OP post a new thread that ICE was at the wrong address.  Cause you know, addresses are 100% accurate.

When he has to go on TV, that's good news for this bill.  There must be some doubt and it had a higher chance of not passing. So the vet is going on TV to get public support. But so far, HHN has zero comments that support the vet.

i heard them call it a loophole. sounds like they are pulling out all the tricks for this one.

They've used this word for years now.  The anti2a likes to use words to make it sound more important to ban things.
