Goodbye Mr. President
« on: July 22, 2024, 07:29:43 AM »
I wish I could say this with sadness.  But I cannot.  You really needed to go.  Like, 3 years and 7 months ago.

And I suppose I should thank nancy for your exit.  Sorry, I can't do that either.

She says it's for the good of the party and for the country and also for you health.  BS.

It's for the good of nancy and her cohorts.  They would have been ruined if you kept in the race.

But anyway, Thanks for Nothing.  Go eat your ice cream and enjoy your ill-gotten fortune.

PS:  I bet you never knew how cruel your party is and that the knives in your back came so soon, so sudden, and with astonishing malice.

But seriously folks, political backstabbing has been going on since the dawn of time. Think Jesus and Ceasar.

I used to work for a guy that became a prominent politician. He got stabbed in the back.

And of course, 24 hrs. later nancy makes it official that she is endorsing kamala harris for president.

As far as nancy is concerned, kamala will continue to toe the line, keep things in place, and maintain the power of the democrat elite.  A younger joe biden that can still be strung along.

Will her incessant laughter drive Americans nuts?  For me it will.

Hope in November this doesn't become a reality.

I find it surprising that Biden's ghostwriter didn't include his endorsement of Harris in his announcement letter.  Or maybe Joe did write the letter, but he had to stop short of the endorsement -- 8:00 bedtime.

And what president would ever use X on Social Media to make this announcement?  That's just insane.  I bet the mainstream media is really pissed after not getting the announcement ahead of everybody else.

If he's incapable of continuing his campaign, why did he not go all the way and resign?  Why remain President for another 6 months?  Narcissism?  Off the top of my head, maybe his handlers want to leave a little doubt that he's really unfit for the job after they've gaslighted the nation saying just the opposite.  Can't claim he's fit up to a couple weeks ago, then resign because he can't do the job and campaign, too.

I've seen Dems saying how Biden is putting the good of the nation above his own ambition.  If that were true, he would be resigning, not just ending a campaign.  In fact, he would have never run against Trump.

It's illogical to me that he (they) are endorsing Harris.  The bigger endorsement would have been for her to assume office now.  As the incumbent, she would be in a much better position to win in November.

I guess "endorsing" her to be President in 6 months isn't the same as trusting her to run the country before the election.

Even if the WH divulged their reasons for Biden hanging on to the office after admitting he can't continue campaigning, I wouldn't trust a word they might say.

Running the country is easier than campaigning when you have others making all the decisions for you.

Ending a campaign this close to the election is unprecedented for a sitting 1st term president.

I wonder if Biden even knows he pulled out of the race.

Something stinks. I mean more than usual.

Did they actually kill Joe to get him out of the way?

The nation has been bracing for this for over 10 years.

Eventually, it can't help but be true.

Yes, us too.
We usually take them to a predominately "Blue" neighborhood to mail to assure delivery.   :geekdanc:

So does this mean there will not be any more actual in-person voting anymore?
I could have sworn that you had to request a mail-in ballot.
I did not request one.
