« on: April 06, 2020, 04:41:24 AM »
Howdy,
If you folks are looking for Guns & Ammo

Check out Classic firearms.

I get a lot of e mails from them advertising all kinds of guns & ammo

at what seems to be reasonable prices.

I'm happy with them so far, couple days to a week plus isn't too long for me to wait to get what I ordered.

Yes, this can happen in Hawaii, I believe the legislature has passed a law that allows for it.

Howdy Y'all

Well the Wife and I have taken the big step and Moved out of liberal Hawaii to a more gun friendly state.

We have moved to Texas where we are Welcome and are among family and new friends.

Our new home is in Hill Country.

We have enough acres to legally shoot any firearm legal in Texas.

We have deer and other game on our little slice of Heaven.

Best is we don't get the liberal Crap about guns like in Hawaii.

Every one we \'ve met is a gun owner or Very Pro Gun.

Town had a banner hung across Main St advertising "Friends of NRA Banquet"

Costs of living is much lower and the foods taste better than in Hawaii.

Bought the Wife a Ford Expedition King Ranch Special.

The furkids love to go riding in the back bucket seats.

The local Ford dealer Openly supports NRA in the show room.

Life is good now that we can Open Carry and shoot on our own private range.

Expect to shoot handguns out 300 + yards.

Sounds of FULL AUTO fire have been heard in the area.

Life is good in the Promised Land.

Legal and Activism / Voteing
« on: January 05, 2016, 01:22:31 PM »
During the last flurry of testimony on anti 2A legislation,

Many 100s of people testified.

To testify, you had to give your name.

Another old time HRA member went thru the entire list to see who he knew were HRA and other gun organization members.

He saw my name & testimony.  I got an e mail comment from him.

If people like him looked at the names,

you can bet the legislators do too.

Probably check to see how many Pro 2A people are in their district.

If 2a supporter's are a big # in his district, may give him second thoughts.

If you know gun owners who Do NOT Vote, this may be a good time to get them to register to VOTE.

2016 is an ELECTION Year.

If Every gun owner Voter Against Gun Control, Hawaii can see big changes.

Maybe there should be a Voter Registration table at the Range, Gun Shows and Shooting Fairs?

Remember, Hawaii has a very Low voter turn out.

Gun Owners CAN make a difference IF enough of them Voted.

If you Can't show me a voter registration card, STFU.

You have NOTHING meaningful to Contribute.

You're Moocher.

ATTENTION LICENSED HANDGUN OWNERS
In light of recent events that have occurred in the United States and around the world I want to encourage citizens of Ulster County who are licensed to carry a firearm to PLEASE DO SO.
I urge you to responsibly take advantage of your legal right to carry a firearm. To ensure the safety of yourself and others, make sure you are comfortable and proficient with your weapon, and knowledgeable of the laws in New York State with regards to carrying a weapon and when it is legal to use it.
I also want to remind all Police/Peace Officers both active duty and retired to please carry a weapon whenever you leave your house. We are the thin blue line that is entrusted in keeping this country safe, and we must be prepared to act at any given moment.
Thank you,
Paul J. Van Blarcum
Ulster County Sheriff

I have been considering getting a dash camera for our cars.

The latest Costco flyer has a Cobra dash camera for $80.

Doesn't say if it records audio.

Does any one have any experience with this model?

Yes, I know you get what you pay for.

Your comments are appreciated.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/posteverything/wp/2015/10/19/the-nra-will-fall-its-inevitable/

The "minorities" mentioned are the very ones that should support the NRA and it's state's affiliates.

The Anti 2A laws they "support" will be used to enslave them.

They have Failed to learn from History.

Burglary at Gun Show

In & Out, 32 seconds

 http://www.wftv.com/news/news/local/surveillance-shows-teens-stealing-weapons-orlando-/nmyBk/

From an attendee

"I had a couple of tables at this show, and my business has been at every Orlando Gun show for the past three years. There was not a lot of information released to vendors, but to clarify a couple of points....

First, there was more than one vendor hit. Second, the vendors were told that security had been cut back for this show, and that there was only one guard. I can't authoritatively confirm that, but one of the guys who works for the show told that to another vendor in my presence.

I don't believe FHP was present at the show at all -- a buddy of mine supervises the unit that works the shows and I didn't see him or his officers at all.

One of the guys who sells ammo near us was really pissed because he had left his locked trailer full of ammo at the show based on assurances by some of the local cops about how well-guarded the show always is. His trailer was broken into and cases of ammo were taken. One of the cases broke, and some of it was found in a wooded area adjoining the fair grounds. So even before the video was released, suspicion had focused on the locals. A couple were wandering around the show Saturday, and the same ones were back Sunday.

BTW, the guy that owns Shoot Straight is the same guy that bought the Orlando Gun Show. He bought Sun Coast Shows last year and just purchased Orlando in the last few months.

The locals have been a problem in the past. Last year, a group of 60-or-so youths swept through the vendors' parking lot and started smashing windows and stealing stuff. The police launched a massive operation to drive them out of the area using multiple cars and a helicopter. It was impressive to watch a chevron of police cars corral and push back a small army of "youths." I asked one of the FHP guys about the strategy and he said their primary concern wasn't the break-ins; it was keeping the kids separated from the vendors, several of whom were ready to start shooting.

The whole thing was really played down locally."

http://www.tsrapac.com/legislative-news/

http://vcdl.org/accom

How many members are there in this forum?

How many are Members of HRA?

How many gun owners are there in Hawaii?

How many are Serious about gun Rights?

Do the math.

Off Topic / Group of Young Males
« on: May 17, 2015, 04:40:12 AM »
Last night, the Wife and were having a late dinner at Likelike Drive Inn at about 930 pm.

Just as we were finishing dinner a group of about 20 plus young guys walked in.

They filled the entry way from the cashier to the door plus.

These are the young guys you Don't hear about.

Looked like they were a team, all about same size, in good shape.

Looked to be high school upper class guys.

They waited until the staff prepared an area to accommodate them.

Wife said there were a few adults with them.

They were Not  the youths you read or hear about in the news causing problems.

To steal a phrase from the President, I would want my son to be one of them.

They were noticed because of how they were Not acting up and causing a problem.

So, if anyone knows who these young guys are, give them a pat on the back from us.

We would guess their school also deserves some credit.

General Discussion / About the Shooting in Garland, Texas

Summed up in 4 words.

Don't Mess With Texas

From another gun forum about Texas cops

" The very first Texas cop that these shitstains crossed eliminated the problem...by himself...with a handgun."

Allegedly, the terrorists had body armor and "assault weapons".

By the time SWAT made it to the scene, both terrorists were down.

Don't forget this 104 yard one handed shot while holding 2 horses.
