About TGK hunting?

Has anyone here had any experience with the Sierra TGK (Tipped Game King) while hunting? This experience could involve either factory-manufactured cartridges or those personally hand-loaded. I'm curious about its performance across different calibers and for various game species.

Personally, I'm planning to use a 165gr .308 diameter projectile in combination with my preferred 168gr development. However, before I make a bulk purchase, I'm eager to tap into the wealth of knowledge from fellow hunters.

If you've had any encounters with the Sierra TGK, whether it has demonstrated effectiveness against diverse game types or if it has excelled in different caliber setups, I would greatly appreciate hearing about your experiences. Your insights might be the decisive factor as I weigh the decision.

Thank you for any insights you can provide on this matter. Much appreciated!

I read that their TMKs (tipped match kings) are deadly in 130gr 6.5cm and 77gr 223 for big game. Hard to get if you dont reload so I havent shot them but I did shoot a couple goats last week with 73 grain eldm and was very happy. I've been moving to lighter recoiling cartridges for better shot spotting and quicker follow up shots. I shoot them a lot better too.  eldm has similar performance to the tmk as you get much wider wound cavities with the match bulelts vs bonded or copper which I like bc I hate blood trailing being color blind.  i think they make a 168 30 cal eldm maybe take a look at that. for 30 cal I have killed a lot of deer and goats with fusions but their bc isnt quite as high as eldm for long range.
