To answer my own question.  0704 all tables are full.

My usual time to go is about 10:30.  The early birds start clearing out, and the after-lunch crowd hasn't arrived.  Normally don't have to wait.  If there is a list, it goes quickly -- usually no longer wait than the next target change.

If all the tables are full, you can go prone next to the tables.  Just ask the guy on the table if it's okay and preferably be next to someone with a bolt action and no muzzle brake.

Will be going today.  I have some highpower books. They are Jim Owens books on leather sling and shooting positions, reading the wind, and sight alignment. . I had offered them up to the local HP club with no response so the books will be at the range for free.

Fun listening to some old timers talking story. Current story is how they think people are pussies for wearing ear pro. They are literally shouting at each other from like 5 feet away from each other. I can hear them loud and clear and I’m pretty far away. 

Reminds me of the scene from Black Hawk Down. “WHAT?!?!”

 

Gotta go 808GC on Sunday to fine tune the M&P 9C.  Have to play with opening my trigger loop more or less.  And don't feel like driving all the way to KHSC.

Cost is more, but easier to work on fine tuning because 808GC has a work bench area.

Columbus day is a Federal holiday, not a State holiday.  The range is closed.
