Bicyclists pies me off. They lean on my truck, cut me off, come super close in the bike lane. I'll share the road when they obey the laws. Because of them I have to refill my windshield wiper fluid too often.

Been shooting there with my son since he was 8. I want to say the rule is 9-12 can only fire rimfire. Age won't be an issue if he can safely handle a firearm. Many times children follow rules better than adults anyway.

I got rid of mine by restoring and then removing the virus. If you want to know where I got the malware removal let me know. I have to look it up because it's on my other pc. But Buddha JL sounds way more competent than me. Im not too good with computers.

Good luck with your business.  If you want to drop off any business cards, you can do so @ my business, Lighting Concepts.  Most of our customers are already working with contractors, but you never know.  Also, if the electrician wants to do small jobs, come talk to me or send me a PM. We are always giving electricians work, so if you're interested in doing small R&R jobs, let me know.

Born and raised in Hawaii, in my opinion "chink" and "pake" are very different.  I've never used the N word, but I use popolo.  If you think I'm racist, so be it.  I don't feel I am.  I differentiate between a-holes and normal people.  Stupidity and ignorance are not exclusive to race or the color of your skin.

I've acquired firearms from OGC, YG, TGS, WGS, X-Ring, and KGS.  Every shop has good guys there.  KGS has gotten a little intense but he's never offended me.  But I don't get easily offended.  I think I've gotten deals on all my purchases. Service is best at X-Ring in my opinion.  But I like them all.

OK, I'm not a professor in economics but I have run my own business for 12 years now.  Yes, prices are sometimes lower online.  Brick and mortar stores have to pay rent, employees, utilities, and taxes.  Taxes have been increasing the last few years as well.  So there's one rant that Daniel @ KGS always talks about that I completely agree with.  If customers continue to shop around @ LGS and end up purchasing online, stores will start to disappear.  It's your own choice if you want to shop online, but don't go to local stores to test it, feel it, try it on, and then end up shopping online.

Is anybody else listening to Piers Morgan about this?  Why do I put myself through this?  Zimmerman's brother is handling himself very well though.

Because of COD my son wanted me to get a KRISS real bad.  He almost got me excited enough to buy it, but figured I have better things to spend $1800 on.  Like my FS2000.  Very practical because one day I might actually have to clear a building.

I was just asking a LGS about this and they all looked at me with blank stares.  I'm assuming they were feigning ignorance in an attempt to sell what they have in inventory.

I agree in that a lot of people don't know.  Once someone asked me if they are supposed to go.  Another time only me, my son, and two other guys were the only ones resetting.  The third time, we only reset what was directly in front of us.  When we walked back someone actually said, "wow, they only reset on their side".  I should have said something, but I bit my tongue.

I must be the only one on this board to feel for the op.  Now I'd say he does have a legitimate concern with the sales man's attitude and no matter how tatical or knowledgable someone is about something, if they piss off a paying customer they are costing you (as the owner) money!  That and you are only as good as your last sale.  I'd highly suggest everyone in the retail business take a lesson from the late and great patrick swayze in roadhouse where he tells his staff to "BE NICE"!  Sure he didn't buy a gun from you and you probally won't miss that one sell but I bet he has at least one friend and word of mouth is one of the biggest things which can either help or hurt your business, especially some place which is as close knitt as Hawaii.

You make a valid point about not pissing customers off, but here's what I think you should consider.  Most of us have interacted with everyone @ OGC, and most of us do not have a problem with anyone there or their attitudes.  I try to be nice to all of my customers every day, but I'm sure I piss off one on occasion just because they don't like the answer they get.

Thanks for the info Kingkeoni! I will make my way down there to try a handful of pistols before i buy. I like this forum. The people are really nice and helpful here.

If you're patient enough you can wait for the shooting fair @ KHSC.
