As the guy said above you want to consider the length.  The longer the handguard the more of that 3gun grip you can get, but it is also good for resting your rifle on things when your behind cover and not your barrel.  Ergonomics are important too; what feels good toYOU.  Will you be attaching a bunch or crap? (hopefully not, the whole purpose of the new systems are to save on weight, all you need is a light).  Think about what attachment system will work best for you, M-LOK, Picatinny, KeyMod.  If the rifle is important to you and something you are going to keep around as a tool, you may want to save up on a couple of paychecks and buy something bombproof (non-clamping on the barrelnut. do your research, I won't namedrop).  Good luck.

My glock 19 and scar16

Nice FN.  How do you get a good shot off with glock considering your height of your optic over the bore.

Thank you for the clarification mauidog.  You make some valid points. I would urge forum members reading this topic to research mauidog's claims and decide for themselves.  This is a good topic not just for Harvard students but us Hawaiians as well as many of us are on the front lines of our foreign policy strategy.

Mauidog, I would refrain from applying your political ideology when attempting to describe our foreign policy. Liberals and conservatives both agree that killing terrorists and stopping ISIS and their followers is an important goal. In terms of pure strategy, we have run more successful ops under the Obama administration than any other administration. This is not praise for the administration, I'm just stating the facts that we can gather from open sources.  Our strategy is extremely aggressive and has exponentially become more active dating back to the Clinton administration. In terms of killing terrorists, we are really good at that and our Spec Ops professionals are the ultimate badasses; they do their job no matter what administration is in power, or what our personal opinions of the current administration happens to be from day to day. Those gentlemen deserve praise for fighting on America's behalf without recognition or reward.

Their observations seem to be very valid to me.  Though, the question probably should have been: "Who has more ability to project their power around the globe?" and one might think: "The world's only superpower or a bunch of terrorists with ak74s and some IEDs?"  Those students were looking at it comparatively.

I'm not sure what you're using it for but I would make sure you do the research and get a milspec rifle.  Depending on your budget, you should be able to get away with spending not that much on the rifle and investing in some good iron sights/optic and ammo.  Best of luck.

Aloha, I'm on Kaua'i. Will be ordering some kit from you for sure. I'm mostly interested in ammo but will be in the market for milspec ar parts. Where are you located?

The 9mm is actually well suited to smaller stature males and females of all types.

It's the main reason so many law enforcement agencies use the 9mm round.

But you're right, it is probably the most universally perfect pistol made.

Especially if you got girl hands.
