Today the Hawaii Rifle Association released an alert for a proposed budget for range improvements to Koko Head Shooting Complex. This is much needed funding to ensure a safe shooting area for everyone on the island of Oahu. If you are able to, please submit testimony in support of this funding.

Honolulu City and County Council holds hearings on the City Budget this week. On the Agenda for Thursday, March 13, is the City's Parks and Recreation Department Budget. There is an item for planning, design, and construction of capital improvement projects for Koko Head District Park, including further safety improvements to the ranges, starting in 2014 and continuing through 2018, with over $1 million asked.
