I've got a G26 gen 4 that I can shoot nearly as well as my G17.  At the time it was that or a G43 and I went with the 26 for mag compatibility.  It fits just fine in a front pocket unless you're one of those guys who wears booty shorts.

I got a gen 4 g26. I like it.

Some people dont like the dangling pinky. Easily remedied with a pinky extension. With certain extensions itll still be shorter than a g19 grip, length wise. The bonus is that you can use g19, g17 mags. Even though its all 10 rd mags, still got the benefit. And if you go mainland you can use 17 rd mags if you to 2a friendly states.

I can hit the rooster maybe 4 times out of 5 on the silhouette side , if its still there. Got trijicon hds.

Rooster still there at 100m
That's hard to hit with a handgun
You're a good shooter if you can hit that 🤙

I'm probably going to regret admitting this, but I've found it's a lot easier to hit that rooster (at least on consistent basis) with my Ruger Redhawk .44 Mag 7.5" barrel and S&W 686+ 6" barrel.   :-[
