Awesome class and instructor.
Goes thru the required but boring stuff and adds example and personal experiences to make things more understandable, relatable and easier to remember.  Lots of on hands on and interaction to emphasize the materials covered.
Highly  recommend.

Read my post above for more details, just removing a firearm from the state doesn't requiring notifying HPD.

CMO, sorry was not able able to locate your post, could you add the link to your posting to this thread.

Someone ask about if there registered firearm is leaving the State, what is the process?  Could you provide the link to the posting.

Sorry, I was planning to leave the State and take my firearms (if I had any, like macsac), so I just made a mental note about the topic, should have pdf the posting and save it, to be printed if needed.

If you don't want to wait or can find yours, for $5 you can print a duplicate:

Also the advantage is that you will have a pdf of the certificate and card.

Yesterday just before 4pm, 24 in line at the permit side and two in the registration/permit pickup side.  Registration would have been quick, but had this guy and his wife with a cart of firearms to register.

I tried looking but not successful, could someone please post a link for the lawsuit settlement for the "Wednesday nights, process everyone in line before 6:30," so we can print it out and hare it in our submission packet documentation.
Thanks

My wife and I were also in the line on the 22nd.  Got there at 3:45 (22 in line) and also experienced the "We are closing in 10 minutes."   Two guys in front of us left, leaving two in front of us, who got in the door just before 6:30.  Then the female officer with glasses, said something like that is all for today.  I mentioned about the lawsuit that anyone in line by 6:30 will be served, her response was "Then we would be here all night." so those who waited were turned away.

Yesterday my wife with her sister got in line at 1:45 with about 30+ in line.  Because of the rain the line wrapped back under the building cover.  There was a guy with his little son went in, he said he is not cutting, and he also mentioned that it took him 5 hours this morning.  We got in the door at 6:22 and when we left there were 24 still in line.  Note: noticed about 5 or so leaving while we were in line.

Thank you DesertRangerTycho for monitoring and reminding the staff of the lawsuit.

For those in line by 6:30, could you let us know what  time did you finish.

The doctor told her, "Oh, the water itself does absolutely nothing.  It's keeping your mouth shut that does the trick."

Sorry quick question for clarification.  I took the hunters ed class around 5 years ago.  If I can somehow find my certificate would that be sufficient for a handgun PTA or is it only good for long guns?  I am a bit confused on whether or not I still need to take the handgun specific course.

OP please let me know how the process goes as I am in a similar boat.

For those who participated in Prime Sports AZ CCW Drive, your permit will be expiring shortly based on when it was issued.  You should receive a renewal notice, funny mine is dated April 13th, but the post mark is July 13?

Fillable form is available at:
https://www.azdps.gov/services/public/cwp
also attached.

Renewal application may be submitted 90 days prior to expiration or up to 60 days following.  Submit the completed/signed form, application fee, and copy of government-issued photo ID.
