i have "a friend" who does this:
pistol brass- wet, no pins
rifle brass- wet, with pins

I use ultrasonic cleaner
before when I used to use the crushed walnut media, some walnut got stuck in the brass and I didn't check it thoroughly enough.  got a squib load in my revolver
ever since then I use the US cleaner. no media to get stuck inside
the dry way got it shinier, but I still prefer US cleaner

Same here I just clean with ultrasonic. If I had the choice, I would do ultrasonic wet, then wet tumble with pins. But I found that I hate prepping dirty brass. So I started just buying fresh cases and loading them lol. no cleaning or sizing or trimming or any prepping needed.
