JW has done many things that show corruption. But it falls on deaf ears due to the DOJ and like agencies being corrupt.

Yes. It was also a matter of pride. We were not only afraid the Communists would be able to destroy us with nuclear weapons, but the unknown of space also added to the paranoia. But I think the pride the country had was the biggest motivating factor in the race to the moon. It took a great president to set the stage for the space race. But it took the greatest engineering effort known to man at that time to make it happen in such a short period of time.
