General Discussion / Look.... a gun thread.
« on: November 01, 2022, 06:10:19 PM »
I've been following this for a bit, Its either real or an awesome troll from the Brits.

The AR market is saturated but (personal opinion alert) Glock would probably be the company that could pull off a big win without offering anything revolutionary in a particularly crowded market because... its Glock.

Im not talking trash, If it's real and available one day I'll probably be in line with the rest.

I hope All sides snap out of this shit and back down. I'm no fan of Russia's gov or Ukraines for that matter, but their citizens and young men are dying because the stupid games our leaders like to play.

Everyone give Op a break, the little guy is probably tuckered and dizzy from all the spinning and mental-gymnastics required for him to believe the spoon fed BS narrative/position the msm people told him to take.

Op the big guy will not cut you in on his ten percent, he's just not that into you.

I like JP and  he's come along way, but there's a point in the video where he mentions and defends the 2nd and how/why the Constitution "granted" it. The US Constitution grants jack, we are born with those rights the 2nd merely recognizes & specifically bars .gov from infringing said inalienable rights.

I know I'm preaching to the choir, but a mindset like that flies in the face of the true meaning of our Constitution & maybe somebody reading this learned something new.

General Discussion / Talk me out of a fs2k please.
« on: December 14, 2021, 11:31:09 AM »
Why the hell do I want an FS2K? I dont need to hear about the advantages of the Aug, I get that its a smarter choice than the FN.  (PERSONAL OPINION WARNING)I always chucked bullpups into more of a novelty category,  so ones performance over another is not a factor in my decision.

I had zero desire to own one when they were cheaper, now that they list for stupid money im strangely drawn to it. Please talk me out of buying some Belgian Space Ahi goodness.
This is not a wtb add....

Tulsi is always easy on the eyes, but she should really get a board from a local shaper made in the USA instead of riding a Thailand pop out

Don't get me wrong Tulsi would get it, but that picture is very generous.

Off Topic / I bought a pellet smoker!
« on: July 22, 2021, 09:07:32 PM »
I've always been a pretty die hard wood and coal guy, a buddy at work mentioned his neighbor wanted to sell his barely used Pit Boss and the price was right so I figured wtf it's 2021. I always enjoyed tending to my fire while enjoying some frosty beverages but due to some lifestyle changes, drinking all day just isn't gonna work anymore and frankly I don't think It would be as enjoyable without alchoholic motivation ::). Does anybody here have any advice for a newb like myself? I'm particularly wondering about smoke tubes(pros/cons). As with anything relating to BBQ, I've found that the consensus is all over the board (what's considered must do's by some are never do's by others) and I'm somewhat certain that this post and any info gained from it will turn out to be subjective.

I'm open to any advice even if it's contradictory, or if you other wood guys want to bash me for being a traitor that's fine too... I'm  mostly just excited about my purchase and haven't posted in a while so I figured I'd start a conversation.   :shake: let's see how long it'll take for the thread to break down into an argument :shake:

Firearms and Accessories / Re: AR15...shim a barrel extension
« on: April 09, 2021, 05:58:48 PM »
Is this for a hyper accurate bench queen Ar? Shimming/glueing a barrel ex, glueing gas blocks ect. will show a negligible often unmeasurable increase to the accuracy of your ar rifle. Good custom build loads and practice is the way to achieve tack driver status with your setup. If you're like me and just want an excuse to fiddle, grab some loctite and go to town but don't expect any miracles and take care to not over do it and muck up your gas hole.

Sarcasm is hard

You're a tool man, a willingly misled tool. I try to avoid engaging in the dog piling of you on this forum but sometimes it seems you enjoy being intellectually slapped around. Regardless of your opinion of the previous president, your inability to acknowledge the YUGE advancements towards world stability in multiple regions by means of diplomacy and a showing of strength not seen in many decades is frankly very sad. You allude to being someone who's political morals are so grounded in rational thought that you dismiss any divergence from your spoon-fed understanding of the way of the world as conspiracy. You claim to be a free thinker but resort to  generic establishment talking points without a semblance of healthy self reflection or criticism. In short...you're spare parts bud, you need to open you're eyes and grow a little. You are being had by people who do not have your best interests in mind, you are just programmed to believe that the people in power who caused/aided the many problems in our world are suddenly the only people who can correct them.....fix yourself!

I've been reading comments on other IG pages and many are sayiing the 9th circuit has a history of having many of their rulings overturned.  Can anyone confirm?

The activist judges on the ninth will purposely pass judgment on cases they know will get overturned. Some of them even brag about it, they are idealist that take advantage of the long appeals process...justice delayed is justice denied.

This shooting will be memory holed, it isnt the type of shooting that the media can use to max effect.  The media were frothing at the bit to push push push then suddenly started backing off(hint-the shooters name).

Political Discussion / Joe Biden supports a talking filibuster.
« on: March 16, 2021, 11:21:51 PM »
The official memo must have been spread through the Uniparty ranks and it looks like Manchin will tow the party line. I noticed the Senate minority turtle puffed up and made a bunch of empty threats today. I'm disappointed most with the Neocons, all of those "rEaL rEpUblicoNS" had plenty of time to nip this crap in the bud but couldn't pass up the opportunity to fundraise as a minority party(the eGOP's favorite position) and reciprocate their foreign kickback schemes.

...but hey they're well spoken when they are bullish!tting us and don't tweet mean things so I guess we're better off.

*edit
Just wanted to be clear before I get schooled by a political scholar, I actually somewhat agree with reverting to a talking filibuster. I always thought the filibuster was kind of a lame way to stall legislation. If I had confidence in our elections I could see this as being a good thing, and if I was naive enough to trust the eGOP to do what they say they would do, I could imagine this would ultimately end up biting the Dems in the ass.

Now what about the POLYMER80 G17 airsoft frame? Would that be a firearm receiver? I mean you could convert it to a real firearm with some drilling and filing....

Ahh American ingenuity ...  2022 SB40$ amends previous ghost gun ban to include unserialized watergun housings
