do you have extras around your house or office?
do you have any contacts at hotels or other large companies?

we have been told that those at the range do not belong to the city, and if they disappear and are replaced by others, it's ok

we may be able to arrange manpower, but if they want to drop them off, that's ok too

Check craigslist 'free stuff' section.

Also, I'd suggest driving around Kahala and HK during bulk pick up days.

On a side note, having couches with cushioning and what not might not be a great idea. With all the stray cats and wild life at the range, cushions are a great way to have ticks, fleas and even bed bugs hitch a ride home with people.

Just a thought.

are you volunteering to be freecycling coordinator?

one of my foremen made the comment about vermin in those couches this morning

carpentry team looking into building more of those long, thin benches as a backup plan

I'd say stick with the wood benches if we can. It is not only is more sanitary, but also provides uniformity at the range. The couches, while comfortable, make the range look really ghetto.

Tell the carpentry team to check craigslist for free pallets. These can be made into both very presentable tables and chairs, and the wood is free or very low cost. I'll call some contacts in kailua to see if they are still offering free pallets, if your carpentry team is willing to work with them.

from talking with my carpentry team lead, it sounds like it is go big or go home
you will be shocked at their setup if it is half as nice as he describes
