Missile Defense False Alarm- Who kissed the Donkey?
« on: January 13, 2018, 08:47:49 AM »
Woke up this morning to the alert of a ballistic missile inbound.  No sirens, or other internet traffic on the issue.  Did you jump into action or wait and see?

The trouble is false alarms like this only undermine the effectiveness of the alert system when an actual emergency happens.

Didn’t get an alert. Heard about it from news updates about false alarm.

But in a way, good “test” in that people were panicked and didn’t know what to do. Many went straight to posting on social media.

Hawaii civil defense might as well scrap the entire system now because no one will take it serious again.

There will be thousands of vacant apartments next month when the residents tell their landlords to fuck this shit, we're outta here.

Not a great day to be showing open houses, that's for sure.

That depends ... "And we're only a block from the nearest emergency shelter.  Let's go check it out now."

so the "button" was controlled in a Democrat run state and they fuck that up. THis should be the counter to the anti-Trumpers who are worried about his button.
