Since it is obvious no one is going to fix the problem regarding posting pics, what is the best app to use so I can post a pic? I am on iPhone and iPad and would prefer to use an app. I back up my photos on iCloud. I think I have an instagram account. Any suggestions?

I haven't done any comparisons between photo websites, but I have been using imgur.com on here for years.  I've been very happy with the capabilities.

I can make memes, resize or crop uploaded images, and create albums to organize my uploads.

This works much better in 2aHawaii posts, too.  The entire image displays in my post rather than a thumbnail that has to be clicked to be viewed.

What browser are you using to view Google Photos?  If you click once on the image in Google, does it display the photo in a pop-up window?

I used Firefox.  Clicked the photo to get pop-up version, then held finger on image to bring up the menu with "copy image location".

Pasted that here between "img" tags.

The image URL in this post is much shorter than the URL I pasted using the Brave browser on my Mac Book, but works the same.

Think the problem is using Chrome it automatically brings the photo up in the Google Photos App instead of actually viewing it in the link. So the link is modified to start the app from Chrome and view it that way.

I have been threatening to use Duck Duck Go for privacy purposes. I think it is time I start. I loaded it a while back but I really never used it regularly. I tried it and it works with Google Photos also.
