This is a cluster fu*k.
The CCW card doesn't have the model on it. Just make and caliber. But the CCW app has the model and so shall your affidavit.
If only HI could say 1 card and you can carry any handgun.
TBH, I would just buy a new gun. Don't gotta worry about the hassle with updating the reg too.
My recent phone conversation with HPD Firearms division may help answer your question: I purchased and registered a P365 SAS and have changed the slide to one which is marked P365X (caliber & barrel length remained the same). I asked the person on the phone if I needed to update my registration because it appears the submodel of my p365 has changed from SAS to X. They initially replied that I would only need to update the registration if the caliber has changed. I then said my concern is that the instructor for the Hawaii CCW course I am attending is asking for the firearm info and my registration says P365SAS and my slide says P365X. HPD's reply was that if it's for CCW, I would need to bring it in for inspection and update the registration, so it matches what is submitted for my CCW License.
I had Craig/RedLetter do a couple for me. I think $40-50 ish, but not positive and it was a while back. Best to check with him. If you need help reaching out to him, please hit me up via DM.
How’s the line at HPD from anyone who’s been recently ?
I don't know how much power the hoover dam supplies the surrounding with but i guess this can be considered green energy. Though it is old tech and not wiz bang solar panels and wind turbines, it is still susceptible to failure because of the environment. Now power prices and availability will be effected by the lowering water levels at some point I am assuming. I do not know how low the water would have to get off hand before it can not produce anymore.
Just a stab but im guessing that this might have to do with the gubment not keeping up with the maintenance they are tasked to do. Something akin to, from what i understand, is the massive leakage that the aqueducts that bring water from the north down into California for use. Looses in the order of 35-50% I think. Not to mention the fire breaks that are no longer maintained in said state which definitely do not lead to wild fires being worse than they could be. Must be Russia's fault...
When I did my online handgun registration last month - when the registration was ready they first emailed me a password, then in a second email they sent the actual registration as a password protected .pdf
The username is your email. They also ask you security questions on the same form.
When you apply for the PTA at HPD, they have you complete a form that you need to choose a username and password. They have you take a picture of this paper because you do not get it back.
Then they will email you the PTA that you can print out.
My GUESS is that when they email you the PTA you will then need to use your personal password to access the document and print it out. If you send in an online registration HPD will email you a password (one that they've created) to access the document.
I think the Pulse has been discontinued.
