Under the assumption that the sensitive places bill passes in any capacity there’s going to be times where you need to store your firearm somewhere. Last I remember a loaded firearm in a vehicle means that the vehicle subject to forfeiture to the police.
The current statute already addresses this.
[§134-25] Place to keep pistol or revolver; penalty.https://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/hrscurrent/Vol03_Ch0121-0200D/HRS0134/HRS_0134-0025.htm
(a) Except as provided in sections 134-5 and 134-9, ...
Section 134-9 is the Concealed Carry License provision.
§134-9 Licenses to carry.https://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/hrscurrent/Vol03_Ch0121-0200D/HRS0134/HRS_0134-0009.htm
So, the Places to Keep for Pistols and Revolvers doesn't apply to Concealed Carry License holders.
You will only have to worry about the sensitive places and federal laws that restrict where you can carry.
That's my read on it anyway.
