Nuclear Energy is a great energy source.

And they take planning, time and a ton of money to build.

You're applauding high gas prices now, but the country won't be able to power all electric cars for decades -- assuming demand is met by car companies at prices we can afford.

Short-sighted Liberal nonsense.

First, they say no fossil fuel cars after 2035.  In the US, we drive
3.2 Trillion miles per year.  Electric cars use ~0.3 kWh/mile.
We'll need to build a 1 GW nuclear plant every 3 weeks starting
tomorrow
JUST for the extra electricity to charge the [cars].

If we cover a small fraction in the USA with solar or alternative power we could power the whole country and planet.  Not sure on the exact percentage but if I recall if we covered Spain we would have enough to cover the world energy use.

Those numbers only include current electricity demand.  Have to add the increase in demand to charge everyone's electric cars.  As I posted, you're still missing a new 1GW reactor (or solar equivalent) added to the production capacity every 3 weeks for the next 14 years to supply power for everyone's electric cars just in the US.  That's 364 new nuclear plants in the next 14 years.

Solar isn't going to satisfy demand.  I don't know why you can't grasp that.

Cant make solar panels without oil. Just another bait and switch subsidy dumpster, but at least that one does not ruin my trimmer engines like ethanol

When you are showering other countries with money instead of making them work for it what is not to like? Someone who is weak-minded like Biden is of course very likeable by other world leaders - as much as an obedient pet.

Maybe he is smarter than we think....or atleast more than Trump

https://apnews.com/article/donald-trump-joe-biden-canada-europe-government-and-politics-5c93e6c016c59f68f53a7569d361f983

He's not smart.  He's senile.  He's also Commander in Chief, and his failure to acknowledge the anniversary of the D-Day invasion is on him and his staff.

Biden snubs D-Day's 77th anniversary, angering veterans

Quote
A Homeland Security source told Fox News that service members and veterans are
upset after President Biden failed to acknowledge the 77th anniversary of D-Day on Sunday.

The source tells Fox News the fact that Vice President Harris tweeted about D-Day while Biden
tweeted about the 1921 Tulsa Massacre on Sunday clearly underscores the administration’s
priorities. Roughly 2,500 Americans died on D-Day.

A president is supposed to be the one who recognizes those who paid the ultimate price for freedom and national security.  There is no bigger multi-national campaign in WWII than D-Day.  He failed.

Diplomacy is an art.  Foreign aid isn't bad.  We give them money, they give us leverage, materials, support etc.  We are but one country in the global presence,  we need allies,  materials etc.  Isolationism is bad.

tell us about your experience with foreign engagements...

Trump traveled/communicated all around the globe working out trade deals, investments from foreign companies, opened markets for US companies, brokered deals between Israel and half a dozen Arab countries, negotiated more financial support from NATO allies, etc.  Economists admitted his tariffs on China imports worked, reducing the trade deficit and leveling the playing field significantly for US companies and workers.

For some reason, there are idiots calling his policies "isolationism."  "Make America Great Again" does not in any way imply "Isolate the US from all other nations."  But, there are idiots who believe that.
