Kokohead Rifle Range is a windy place.   I've been using some survey marker flags at 25yds and 50yds, and you can see how the winds shift and swirl.

I ordered these wind flags from Germany on December 14, 2018, and they arrived today.

They should give me wind direction and relative wind strength at Kokohead.

They are height-adjustable.

                                     https://shop.sichtkraft.com/en/wind-flag-50m-issf-type.html

It is "Made in Germany", not "Made in China" so quality is top-notch.

Not  a fan of the brass catcher.  Caused jams a good number of times.  The round being expelled got caught on the net and caused a stove pipe.  Not a real problem since I dont shoot my AR at the bench at all once zeroed.  Only shoot her at the HDF open shoots or skill builders.

NICE!  A buddy is waiting on a pair over here,  they've been sold out and are on order.  Awesome value.  Does it shoot well?

EXCELLENT shooter, with consistent accuracy.  whereas the heritage rough rider (yes, i had one - ack!) was minute-of-liter bottle (maybe), the wrangler is easily minute-of-beer-can.  ;D

clearly, the wrangler is the affordable better answer to the taurus/heritage rough rider and the reason they're selling like hot cakes.

Latest purchase was Aimpoint Comp M5 and Scalarworks lower 1/3 mount. The mount was out of stock for forever and noticed a couple weeks back that it was back in stock, so I ordered one. It arrived today and I decided to mount the optic and assemble the gun that I had been building/assembling over the last many months.

Well, they sent me the 1.42” (absolute cowitness) version. Emailed them to start return and hopefully they have the 1.57” version in stock.  :(

started out as a stag 15 orc, replaced the upper with an ar15parts 20" heavy s/s rifle bull barrel in .223 wylde, swfa s/s 10x42 scope on a nikon m-tech 30mm mono mount, rise armament ra140 trigger, cross armory bearing sleeve forward pin pal installed, large knob rear latch pin installed.   setup to accept a caldwell picatinny rail brass catcher.  bob sled single feed mag used for custom long OAL cartridges.  raptor ambi charging handle and harris bipod due in next week.  current total weight without a full mag is 10lbs 3ozs.  this should work well for really long distance firing solutions.   ;)

upgraded a couple things on my Colt Cobra
changed out the factory rubber grip for a G10 grip from Altamont with snakesking checkering and laser engraved Colt serpentine emblem.  fitment is great, as with all my grips from Altamont.  its slightly wider than the factory grip, and fits my hand great
changed out the factory fiber optic front sight to a tritium one, works great too, easy to change out with just a screw

Now you need a Python or Anaconda to keep your Cobra company.

Once this work craziness settles down, I am meaning to shoot my revolvers more and one thing I want to do is try different grips for my S&W Model 28.  The ones that it came with are a little two too skinny.
