Thanks! it was an awesome trip with my Keiki’s! I’ve been a bunch so just mainly went along as puka shell tour guide lol.

The lions was cool to see but glad we didn’t walk into them while stalking as we almost did lol. Only the one that came for my son’s giraffe was pretty hairy moment.

Taxidermist got everything in February and quoted 18 months so roughly this time next year. Only have a couple mounts from my previous trips to Africa.

This if you can afford it. If not, save and get it. The fx 120 is being phased out and is being replaced with the 123.

They just had a sale on the pkg scale and trickler a little over $ 1,100 might wanna keep an eye on it. Sold out quick

I’ve been using the Meehl powder trickler and must say l prefer it a lot more than my AT V4. So would say that I’d choose it over the V4 at this point.

That was definitely a thought and still may happen. The price of complete rifle is $800, a custom prefit is slightly less than that so at worst case I’ll pull the barrel and sell it and replace with a prefit and have a new gun. Win/win.

Yeah prefits depending on barrel and GS fees can be pricey. Some I’ve done been over $1700.

Have fun with your new rifle it’s a fun cartridge! If you’re thinking of reloading for it lmk l might still have some Alpha brass for it.

Factory 6mm creedmoor tikka. Ships out tomorrow. Can’t wait.

You didn’t want to just get a custom prefit instead?

Just wondering lol

Some have had issues with the Redding competition seating die height just something to be aware of if you aren’t already. It’s a great press brother 👍🏽

Theoretically yes, it operates differently than other presses. The jaws and die holder have some play in them. Which in turn allows the brass/cartridge to align better as it’s being used hence the co-ax name.

But in my experience dies are a greater influence than the presses used. Custom dies cut from the cartridge reamer you’re using provides the best uniformity. They match your rifles chamber exactly.

Doing wildcats causes you to make your own dies sometimes. Some smiths will cut the dies for you with the same reamer when they chamber your barrel.  If you own the reamer you can get die blanks cut for you. Or you can send in 3-5 pieces of brass shot in your chamber and they will cut it to your brass specs.

I’d recommend Neil Jones

Firearms and Accessories / Re: Muzzle brake tuners for 6.5 creedmoor…

I have one of the original. I was just getting around to dialing in last steps before the tuning setting, then took a break and didn’t go back.

All I can offer it’s that it’s quite popular and pretty good reviews. Lots of feedback available online from EC as well.

Right on brother! Yeah we hunt all over so that’s one reason wanted to try these. And the ability to use it on multiple platforms and record settings to each one was a big plus as well. Especially now going prefits it provides another option due to its dual capability of a tuner and brake.

Reloading / Re: ADG Arc Annealer
« on: December 07, 2025, 04:34:46 PM »
We did as well my bradda came a long way from the early beginnings of annealing. With these new machines the temp sensors is what I’m looking at. Building my own again is fine but I want the ability to adjust temp for each lot or batch of bras as it’s not always the same. Even in the amp the codes would change the more we used the brass.

But, through the years tech has gotten the way it has and after moving few times. Sold my stuff to friends or family has an AMP with amp mate but again had to move and a friend just had to have it lol.

And this has a feeder unlike the amp I had to hand feed each one until I got the amp mate which was more complicated than I needed lol.

Happy reloading brother

So just starting to set up my stuff and looking again for things l need. Was gonna get another amp set up but seen this and ordered it. It just came in but looking for ppl who have had used it to talk to.
