« on: March 09, 2017, 03:36:45 PM »Why so? Retirees and reservists are treated the same as AD. DOD employees are similar. All of them can sponsor guests on. We also have a large group of civilian club members, but those slots are limited due to military rules. I've been sponsoring civilians on through my meetup group for the past year. I help to answer the club emails, maybe there was a miscommunication.
Schofield Rod and Gun is another military club with more stricter requirements on membership, registration, and guest requirements but provides for some unique opportunities.
Not sure what you meant by "Active Duty" which can mean two entirely different things. Actively full time military services vs part-time/reservist. Or Active meaning full-time, part time, reservists versus not currently serving such as retired, discharged veteran, inactive, etc.
I work for gov, but not dod. need sponsorship. the ratio thing (2 to one reg members to sponser) will never happen if I put in to be on the waiting list. Not worth the effort. Would have been nice though since I live right there in Ewa. I just go to x ring instead, at least until I get off island. Thank you anyway though.

Little known fact is dewat blank guns are available over there. One can get a tommy gun with a welded barrel blank adapted and drill out the blank adapter. Yes they are full auto. The ammo is what is hard to get. Except in Scotland. 12 ga game shells are easy to get

Bare in mind, I am using 40 cal rounds and the mag only holds 10, maybe 11 if I force it. I think some epoxy built up on the follower or base pad will make it a 10 rd .40 magazine.

Whats the pricing for these compared to OE glock mags? Whats the advantage? In my mind, if its even close in $, im going with OEM
I paid $16 and change for them each delivered. I ran them yesterday, they fed great with 40 out of 9mm mags. Had to change the connector on my Timberwolf though - trigger kept not resetting. Went to my 4.5# connector and no issues.

Reasoning was because you mentioned the follower being the reason you fit only 11 rounds. But that comment has since been changed. I was hoping to try those magpul glock magazines.I am sure there is a way to block them so that you can have them in HI. I will look into it

There are kydex adapters for standard pg's for way less that are Cali legal. I guess I just don't see the point. Added weight and bulk.

Just got in an order with two glock 19 magpul mags. They are made for 9mm. They fit great in the gun and drop free once empty. Just for s#its and giggles, I loaded them with .40 cal rounds to see if they would feed in my Glock 23/Timberwolf. They fit and feed .40 flawlessly hand functioning. Only hold 10 40s
