Legal and Activism / Re: Young vs. Hawaii remanded to 9CA

Unfortunately we have pricks who don't give a shit in charge of permits and politicians who feel they can ignore court rulings not in their favor. Those people really need to be arrested and charged with contempt of court.

In 8 years I going be 80. That is when I going get my Ainokeaanymo unrestricted CCW permit.
Cancel that. Nobody here does anything illegal.
I just no like end up like that world champ boxer from Waipahu who got mugged and beaten to a semi vegetative state when he was old.  He would have wiped the sidewalk with those punks when he was young.

What we are doing today is for our children and children's children. I just hope I can get a HI CCW before I die of old age. That's how much lack of confidence I have in the state recognizing the 2A right.

Donations were minimal to cover some of the court fees, copying, prep, and travel fees which run into the tens of thousands of dollars alone.
I realize that. It is unfortunate the state can't be sued for attorney fees and court costs for their blatant disregard of constitutional rights.

I don't know why all these mom and pop stores don’t  carry in their place of business.

I thought Alan was doing this pro bono and some were supporting his effort with donations.

Anyway, my friend who told me his coworker has been CCing for 13 years, told me after that he knows of 7 guys at his workplace who have been carrying for years.
He works for a large company with over 100 employees. This on the BI in Puna. He was thinking about it and I told him don't do it, just carry your X26. You not going get in prison time trouble that way.

So what, another 2 years?

Just as I thought, they are making the license county specific.

Someone should leak the AG and Gov address and other personal info..

With the high cost of ammo, you want to make every shot count.

General Discussion / Re: HPD/ Sheriffs pistol quals

Cops know.  Ever wonder why on the BI if there is a traffic stop, Cop stays in his car, orders you to stay in your car,  till he has back up?
There is some variation of the timing of things.  And is dependent on  the cops "rookie" status.
Wild west here.

Oh I know. Cops NEVER come into my subdivision alone. Always 2 or 3. When I lived in Kailua Oahu, almost always only a single cop would come on a call for something like a suspicious person or vehicle, noise complaint etc.  Not here. That is why it takes so long for them to show up. Gotta wait till 2 cops are available, that often takes an hour or two.

I like the qualifications be hard so that most cops no can pass.

Miculek type hard, 2 shots each in 3 targets at 7 yards in 1 second. LOL.

My friend's coworker on the BI has concealed carry a 9MM for the past 13 years. Never got caught yet and never had to draw it out yet either.  He believes in the old adage about 12 and 6.

Morning news said Chris Lee was drafting legislation to require same amount of training as police in order to carry.  Of course such training is not available to civilians as far as I know.  Please correct me if I am wrong.   As I said earlier, they are going to make the requirements so difficult it will still amount to a de facto ban.

Im kind of curious if they will allow all who have "out of state" CCW to accept those.

There is no way Hawaii will accept any out of state permits. What they will do is make it as difficult as possible to obtain one.  I was not 100% thrilled with the decision written by Clarence Thomas.   I was hoping for national constitutional carry or at the very least, national reciprocity where even a non resident out of state permit must be honored.   I would guess there are at least a few thousand of us already holding those.

Look like the Dems have to buy more printers to make fake ballots so they can still win.

Big pharma is the main reason we have mass shootings.

Anyone planning on committing gun violence this week?
I already did. I took my Umarex G19 BB clone and badly mutilated some soda cans to the point that I don't think they can be recycled anymore.

good thing I took care of my business at HPD already.  I can imagine the wait in the line now
I'm on the BI, so don't know how it is here, but I'm in no rush. What I wonder about is if the permits will be county specific rather than statewide.  Knowing the pricks in government,  I am sure they will make it county specific.

You see all da idiots protesting when nothing going change in Hawaii.  Some are saying the SC banned abortions when all they did was give control to the states.
