Legal and Activism / Re: Semiauto sentencing enhancements for HPD!
« on: June 17, 2021, 01:58:15 PM »
Police shouldn't be allowed to carry guns. Pepper spray, tasers and billy clubs, that's it. Lead by example, a firearm is not necessary to defend yourself.   Oh, I almost forgot, have a big dog too.

Shoppo supported Alm and they're upset.  But at least the cops legal bills would be mostly covered.

What chance does a law abiding citizen have if they use a firearm for self defense

Alms and the deeper plan do let criminals run wild

That is why any gun owner, in fact anybody who intends to fight for their life and not pacifily allow someone to take it, NEEDS to have SD  insurance.   At a dollar a day, I consider my USCCA insurance cheap.

After 7 years without a long gun permit, I decided to get one. On the BI, you call to make an appointment.  First call, line busy. 2nd try 1 min later I get an answer and woman fills out form for me over the phone. I get an appointment to come in the following week.

The grand jury opted not to indict the officers.
I agree with the grand jury because the perps committed an ARMED robbery.
If they were allowed to escape, it might lead to a tertiary crime scene with guns or worse.
At first glance it looks like a cruel unnecessary shooting, until you think about just a little bit more.
The cops needed to end the chase  to prevent another crime scene.

That's just my opinion.
The chase was already ended. The car crashed. I have no opinion one way or the other except that if I wanted a LE career, I would go to college,  get an accounting degree and apply for the FBI. I would not want to be a police officer.

My NV, AZ and UT permits all expired between Oct and Nov of 2020. I renewed AZ & UT online and got both in about 2 weeks. I might go and get another NV next year.

I would ask someone working on my gun how long? If more than a month, I would go somewhere else.  If not completed in their projected time frame, plus a grace period of one week, I would take my gun back.

I no need CC or OC. I get 3 big dogs.

You think Ballard still carries a firearm or since she is no longer an active LEO she leaves it home to keep the streets more safe?  HPD sure seems trigger happy lately.

I spent over a week in New Orleans Parish Prison.
All charges were dropped.  Horrible cops there.
You need guns with those "policemen" protect and serve
around.
HPD isn't any better I suspect.
Gotta watch those Southern cops.

Louisiana state house and senate just passed no permit CC. Now waiting for Governor signature.

I think our two US Senators look 10x better wearing a mask.

If you had a dog that looked like Susan Ballard, would you shave its ass and make him walk backwards?

I think no one who posts on here will qualify,  but might have friends and family that do. Your income cannot be more than 150% of the Federal Poverty level, which for a couple in Hawaii, would be about $30,000.

He died at a rehab facility in CA.  He was there for 5 weeks.  No details available but he messed up his life with drugs and alcohol.   Sad story.

CA population also went down for the first time in history.   The whole state is on the way down.

He probably was there to see if he could get the Biden administration to allocate $10m to improve the range facilities.

General Discussion / Re: LGS With Pepper Spray In Stock
« on: May 06, 2021, 07:10:26 PM »
Those small pepper sprays are hard to deploy quickly and accurately and the range is very short.  I got my daughter a Mace gun and had her practice on her boyfriend with the water cartridge.  In any case, buy 2 so she can see what it will actually do when using it.  Worse time to find out is when you actually need it.

Contract is for only 5 months for $216k, renewable for 6 years. Does that mean she can get $216k every 5 months??

In Hawaii, if you had a criminal pinned against the wall with your vehicle,  not injuring him but he couldn't escape, you will probably get charged with kidnapping and assault with a deadly weapon.   After all, you did hold him against his will and you could have easily killed him.
Criminals have rights. You, not so much.
