Good for her. Also hope Simone gets better soon. If she was on it the US women would be unbeatable.

And where can we practice EG marksmanship? Do we need to go all the way to Kokohead? I'd be concerned with those EG owners who have never handled or fired an EG before because Kokohead is pretty far...they could hurt themselves or someone else! :o
Like my dumbass former son-in-law (he since died, RIP) who wanted to try out this stun gun he ordered. He tried to shock a toad in the rain and ended up shocking himself too.  Funny as hell to see him zap the toad and himself at the same time and see the stun gun go flying in the air when he got shocked. ;D

That's cheap, it was $540 a few months ago.
And to think I could have bought 1000 rds of 124 gr Blazer 9MM at Front Sight in Oct 2019 for $155.51 (tax incl) I bought only 500 rds, of which 400 was used for my class.

I no longer use centerfire ammo for practice. I use my G19 BB gun clone for practice and for rifles I only shoot my 22LR.  To me, cf ammo is too valuable and expensive to spend on punching paper, but then again, I am not rich like a lot of you guys.

Also, 9mm is the most popular round for law enforcement, private security, and home/self defense.  In all ammo shortages, 9mm has been the first caliber to be sold out, and the slowest to come back in stock.

I guess I better hang on to my 9MM ammo. I just sold 1000 rds of .223 FMJ for $700 and was going to sell about 2-3000 rounds of 9MM for $500 a thousand.

Joey Chestnut set a new world record this month by eating 76 hotdogs, buns and all, in 10 minutes. He beat his previous record of 75.

Sauerkraut on a hotdog is da bomb.  Sam's Club used Covid as an excuse to shutdown their drink fountain.  Now instead of a 🌭 and drink for $1.50, a 🌭 alone costs $1.50 and you have to buy a canned drink.

The Idaho Governor reminds me of our Governor Ige, his polar opposite.  I liked how he handled the press questions at the end.

Those are some big pipes. Some people are only 3/16.
Those are the standard size  pipes used to make a 12 ga pipe shotgun.  Don't know what size shell would fit in a 3/16 inch pipe, or if they even make pipes that small. If you get chamber inserts for the pipe, you will be able to shoot at least 10 different calibers with your pipe gun.

Check Ebay for 12 ga chamber inserts.

What should I do with the schedule 40 1 inch and 3/4 inch pipes and 1 inch end caps that I have? As is from HD they are like 85% completed to make a 12 gauge pipe gun.

I can see what is now called 80%, will be renamed 75%.

Preparedness and Survival / Re: Supermarkets Stockpiling Food

What I meant was if they don't have a stockpile to sell from, then me as the consumer will have nothing to buy.  I hate to hear the words "Sold Out" when it is an item I wanted to buy.  But just stockpiling and not selling in a retail business is poor economic sense, especially when it is a perishable commodity.

Supermarkets stockpiling food. Isn't that what they are supposed to do?

More pros than cons to me. Maui's Mayor wanted to reduce the number of tourists to that island. Raise taxes high enough so only the very upper middle class and rich can afford to visit. As long as they keep things free or low costs to locals, go for it.
