House will get a vote

They have to push it through to a vote quickly.  If they don't get a House vote this week, it can't be done before both chambers go on August recess.

If the House manages to pass it by Friday, the Senate will be in session all next week before going on recess, too.

Once they come back from a long break, the midterms will be close at hand, and the momentum to pass this bill will have lost steam.

I'm hoping they bust their asses, pass the House bill, then have the Senate not even vote on it, because it's unconstitutional on its face.

Someone has to be the adult.

Congress should channel all resources to mental illness.  This is what ails the country.  This is what drives crime.

They can start with themselves.......

Hmmmm.

Ed Case is listed among the 211 sponsors of the AWB.

Lazy Mazie "Dumb as a bag of hair" Hirono isn't mentioned.

So much for, "Shut up and stand up. Do the right thing."  She can't even be bothered to sponsor a bill that you know Hawaii's leaders want desperately to pass.

Just, hmmmm.....

She has that effect on most people -- sarcastic comment that's totally outside the realm of reality notwithstanding.

Well, from what I read (and I don't trust anything I read on the Internet!), this AWB bill along with the Police Funding bill were tabled until after the August recess.  That means they still have the option to bring a vote in the House in 6 weeks give or take.

I think waiting only diminishes the momentum they think they have.  However, it does give them another issue or two to convince midterm voters they need to retain power in the House and Senate, else the GOP majority would quash the bills without a vote.

There's always a strategy when Dems appear to make a decision.  Whichever way helps them maintain power will win out -- even if it's unconstitutional.

Watch out for the false flag events. What's the over/under on at least 2 mass shootings with ARs in the next 6 weeks? Not counting Chicago which is every weekend.

Excellent chance the leftists will activate one of their stooges.
Only way they can keep the fake news media in a frenzy for them.

So if you can't watch the above vids, the House passed some kind of BS bill so they can force a vote on the AWB before the session takes a recess.

I notified Ed Case.  Told him it's unconstitutional.  Wonder if he understands what that means.  He took the oath to uphold the constitution but seems like his oath is full of shiite.
