Hi Everyone,
I hope everyone is having a great July and had a great 4th of July. Welcome aboard all you new members, it's great to have all of you here!!

If you haven't heard, the decision for McDonald v. the City of Chicago was handed down by the Supreme Court at the end of last month with a victory for our side (McDonald). Shortly after that Chicago passed some new laws making it legal but very restrictive to get a handgun. Many people have compared the McDonald case to the Brown v. the Board of Education case. The powers that be will just keep posing restrictions and we will need to whittle away to end the oppression. Already Alan Gura is working on cases to cut some of those restrictions. Check out a list of current Second Amendment cases.

For those of you interested in rifle competition, the Aloha State Games F-class rifle competition was held on July 17th and 18th. Our very own forum member Heavies competed and had a fun time with his 30-06 and also provided some information on how it went.
