$28 for oxtail and I keep thinking about this celebrity.  Can't remember his name but what he said is hilarious yet a bit profound.

He said he don't mind eating the small oxtail pieces but get a little queasy when he sees the very large pieces.  Said he knows that piece was closer to the......you know what.

Yep.  A jar in front of a person that just punches buttons to add up your purchase.

I also agree that Zippy's is nothing special.  I think it's appeal is it's extensive menu for families that have different tastes.

But even that is not like before.  Limited menu items when I go anyway.  But still has variety to satisfy most tastes.

I think my wife and I go there because sometimes she likes to eat breakfast food while I like to eat dinner food.  You can get them there.  Even at 2 in the afternoon.

It's supply and demand, limited by ox's only having one tail.

Need to genetically modify them to grow two tails so the soup gets cheaper.

I bet before ox-tail became extremely popular, you couldn't give them away.

AT $28 it should be a really BIG bowl, but I know it will not be.

Yup.  Got that right. :shaka:

Political Discussion / RNC Initiative
« on: Today at 05:51:56 AM »
The initiative's goal is to monitor the electoral process by recruiting volunteers to oversee the operations of the election's committees in key swing states.

Critics of this initiative says it will undermine public confidence in election integrity.

But I say, bring it on if you believe your electoral process is fair.

What are you afraid of?  If anything, it should boost public confidence in the electoral process.

Again, what are you afraid of?  Huh?  LOL.

don't worry
the imperialist US empire power okole will soon crash due to the vassal states costly proxy war to fund the military industrial complex
and very astute hawaiians will take power and establish a true hawaiian government
note: that "soon" is not a prediction nor an exact date
otherwise, it would be incorrectly anticipated

I'll probably be compost by then, but oooh.

Hope. ;)

Why does he keep plagiarizing?

https://youtube.com/shorts/lu0oGmEBAR0?si=ST_WtmG-KegFcg-k

He's not a genuine person.  I'd bet he didn't even want to be there.

A genuine person would give a genuine speech.  From the heart.

Ronald Reagan was a Great President.  You, joe, is no Ronald Reagan.

He undid all of Trump's policies on the border the first day he took office.  And he did it with great fanfare.  And now he's trying to fix it.  Too little.  Too late.

Not only the worst president but an extremely stupid one.

Especially if he thinks his executive actions will sway American people to his side.

Even his most stellar supporters can see this as full of shiite.

Sort of related to this discussion....
A new tiktok video challenge where teens kick your front door late at night.
https://www.hawaiinewsnow.com/2024/06/14/two-teens-arrested-after-participating-exceptionally-dangerous-tiktok-challenge/?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR1RtRy5L5DQ10fbu9j-WdspjjQbRG8ez3qb6K9g9qQu2SOkCqTAsST1u44_aem_ZmFrZWR1bW15MTZieXRlcw

Luckily for these stupid teens there is rule of law.  If it was a WROL type of situation their mamas would be weeping.

"But he was such a good boy.......boo hoo......" :'(

In my opinion most if not all foreign fighters joining Ukraine's International Legion are in it for themselves.

TIK TOK, You Boob, Insta-scam, whatever social media platform out there is their motivation not to mention future books and documentaries.

But for the sake of Ukraine?   LOL!

I'm retired also and am so sad and sorry for the state of affairs that is forcing people, especially the young ones, to move to the mainland for better opportunities.

Hawaii is broken and will continue to be broken as long as the current political structure remains the same.

There is no true Aloha Spirit in Hawaii.  It has been bastardized in the name of greed.

Right now my 3 kids and their families are struggling beyond belief.  I help out financially whenever I can.  Don't know how long Mama and Papa can help but we will until we either die or run broke.

If they all decide to move to the mainland the door won't have time to hit me in the ass as I will join them in a blink.

We need Michael Jackson to come back from the dead to make another song like "We are the World...."

Then we all can hold hands and have a kumbaya moment before we go back to how we are.

Went to Zippy's yesterday with wife.  Looked at the menu and saw that Oxtail soup is $28.00!!! :o

Would you order it?  I wouldn't.

Back in the 80's Diner's Drive in had oxtail soup for $4.50.

Used to buy 2 and pig out.

edited to add:  could be wrong but it might have been $3.50

Did he or did he not falsely fill out the paperwork to acquire that revolver?

How can he and his retarded daddy claim he did nothing wrong?

Hawaii is a state run by Japanese, Chinese, and Hawaiians.
All those cultures despise individual freedom.
What do you expect?
 :grrr:

I expect educated, fair, and logical people running the state.  Not a bunch of self-serving greedy asshats.

Don't care what culture or ethnicity they are from.

And don't tell me caucasians can do any better.  An asshat is an asshat.
