Political Discussion / Re: WTF Trump
« on: Today at 08:20:45 AM »
Is Trump trying to protect friends and allies in high places from being exposed?

To clarify, this is in reference to the Epstein files.

I guess he is.  Maybe he doesn't want to but he has to, when you take into consideration the big picture.

Which is why the feud between him and MTG lately has him calling her a "lightweight", which I take as not being able to play 5D chess.

This is one of the things I personally dislike about our President.  I dislike him when he immediately labels people who go against his agenda.  People stoop low when they do this to him, why does he have to go down to their level?

Anyway our President should never underestimate the American people.  When someone like him who we respect as a leader campaigns on a promise, he needs to follow through.

This Epstein crap is really beginning to be bad optics for him.

His recent feud with MTG only makes it worse.

I have a love hate relationship with airlines.  I love having a means to get off this fricken island but absolutely hate flying and the industry that provides it.

There will never be a perfect POTUS however Trump has the agendas that I also believe in.

That's why I voted for him and supported him.  Not because I like him or think he's the best thing since apple pie.

However, certain things are beginning to concern me recently, but the biggest one is the Epstein file issue.

He campaigned on making the Epstein files transparent.  Now I'm like WTF?!!

What was he running for?

Oh yeah.  He broke the law.

Maybe that's why the police were chasing him.  He had numerous prior traffic violations.

The police WAS TIRED OF LETTING HIM GO.

Damn right could have been prevented.  Numerous infractions ago......Once you let him go, he going think he can do it again.  And again.  And again....... ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)

Political Discussion / Re: I Want My EBT
« on: November 10, 2025, 09:36:46 PM »
This is how they prep us for UBI and digital communism.

It's just like baiting pigs with a feeder to get them comfortable hanging out in the kill zone

Some of those EBT pigs look too comfortable hanging around that feeder.

The government should require them some gym time.

I have never heard or saw on social media any EBT recipients who were thankful. ALmost all say its "their" benefit. I "deserve" this. No thanks to the working middle class families whose income were diverted. No gratefulness.

Roger that.

I'd bet, as these recepients gather around the warm family table this Thanksgiving, creaking under the load of all the wonderful foods that EBT brings, a family member will stand up and quietly call everyone to prayer.

For Thanks.

Thanks to the EBT program where we can enjoy the windfall that enables us to buy fireworks at the end of the year......

No thanks whatsoever to the hard working people that made their benefits possible, these very people who just might be eating processed turkey instead of the real thing.  And driving a 2007 Toyota Corolla instead of a lifted F-150 with bling bling wheels and tires.

I might be cynical but ainokea.  May God punish me if I am insensitive but I'm suffering from  entitlement fatigue after hearing and seeing it in the news, airwaves, internet, and even in my own family.

My daughter is a teacher and keeps in touch with her former students.  2 of her former students are in Vegas right now.

Stuck at the airport. :(  Their flights have been canceled and the airlines are working to get them home.

Plus they said most of the places they went to eat at was junk.  Overpriced and one buffet they went to seemed to have food that was either from the day before or sitting under the heat lamp too long.

Moral of the story:  Don't eat at buffets since visitor count is down, the food will not be refreshed as often.

Senator Kennedy also exposed some 4.5 million dollars the demorats want to send to Uganda or someplace in Africa to promote LGBQT elo-meno-P rights.

4.5 million dollars.  To f*ckers in Uganda while our own citizens struggle to make ends meet.  Yeah, I wonder how much of that money actually reaches those pukes in Uganda.  Maybe 1 million?  The rest in you know who pockets.

Same as this Obama care crap.  How much actually filters down to help the ones it was intended to help.

My opinion of course.

https://www.hawaiinewsnow.com/2025/11/10/we-are-not-done-with-this-fight-hawaii-senators-reject-deal-reopen-government/

The U.S. Senate voted Sunday to move forward on passing legislation that would reopen the federal government.

But it did so without the support of Hawaii’s two senators.

Both Sens. Mazie Hirono and Brian Schatz said the compromise, which does not include a guaranteed extension of health care subsidies, fails to address rising health care costs for millions of Americans.

“We are not done with this fight,” said Sen. Brian Schatz, D-Hawaii. “We are going to keep fighting to try to salvage this situation for the tens of millions of Americans who are going to see their health care costs double.”

The bozo and the sh*t head.

Why are most of us not surprised.  Not even their colleagues on Capitol Hill.

Political Discussion / When you are a liar and is guilty......

The first thing that comes out of your mouth is "SHUT UP!!!"

Naturally.  Anyone else who knows in their heart they are not guilty would hold a calm and confident discussion.

nancy pelosi.  Everything your parents told you not to grow up to be.

Hey democrats.  Think about those who won't be eating turkey and it's fixins while all of you stuff your f*ckn faces with it.

I think it would be great for the DC area airports to be shutdown due to ATC and TSA shortages.  Congress stranded in DC over the holidays would be poetic justice.

Flapp is spot on.  Shut down the DC airports.  All of them.  Now.  If America can't travel to be with their families and have Thanksgiving, then congress won't either.

Cry America a river, congress critters.  The fact that you are still getting paid while causing the nation so much pain is shameful, criminal, and downright evil.

F*ck.  All.  Of.  You.  (and everything about you.)

Maybe on the Strip I might be considered riff-raff.

Downtown, at the Cal I might be a mini-whale. Or at best a very fat goldfish.

Maybe.

Going to be a bleak Thanksgiving for SNAP beneficiaries who are used to having all the fixins for a great turkey dinner.

Have a great thanksgiving, congress critters.  Mazie and Brian, how's your holiday planning coming along?  Really?

How nice.........

All over the internet, so much content about:

DEM.  AGAINST US.  (Us meaning Republicans.)

I often wonder if there will be bi-partisan politics ever again.

I'm beginning to wonder if this government shut down will ever........

No.  I won't go there.  yet.

To Miss Hawaii Cheyrl Bartlett, seems like your love for him beyond measure (like you said) will have to be in Brazil.

You need him to stay.  Well, looks like he didn't feel the same way.  To stay, I mean.

To address the 90,000 rooms being empty in Vegas:

The CEO's admit that they are catering to the higher end Vegas visitor (the whales).

And they don't want the "savvy" gambler/visitors.  These are the experienced visitors that know the best odds on games, know the player programs and how to take advantage of them, know the games that has the lowest house edge, etc. etc.

But I think they were still banking on the "newbie" Vegas visitors.  These are the clueless, come of age people that don't know any better and just want to have a great time.  They don't know anything about which games to play or which slots have better pay-outs.  And they don't know or care that that bottle of beer they bought for $11 cost only $3 a couple of years ago.

I believe these are the people the CEO's were hoping to fill those empty rooms left by the more savvy players.  These people will be willing to pay the resort fees, parking fees, and $50 burgers and $26 waters that are now defining the Strip.

Problem is, we live in the social media age.  Where information is shared and available in a microsecond.  People are sharing and in that sharing is valuable information and experiences being absorbed by the newbies prior to them visiting Vegas.

Maybe the CEO's overlooked this aspect and now the "newbies" are also informed about the rip-offs waiting for them in Vegas.

And they too, are not coming.

I just can't see how the CEO's and their cohorts can just bank on the whales alone.

Whales don't occupy regular rooms, don't eat at McD's and the like, and won't be seen dead at the Food Halls, what few buffets are left, and the ABC's and Walgreens that dot the landscape of the Strip.

The whales will look around, see all the empty places and say "F*ck this, this is boring, I'm going somewhere else......"
