This is plain-old capitalism. Some dude made the investment in the stamping dies, the machinery, had to front the money for that investment, and then went and got promises probably from the Taliban and the warlords, to sell them the magazines. Recoups his investment, and pays the employees, provides jobs for the community. That's why he gets to wear the gold watch. Probably skimps on the health plan and the employee retirement pension. Doesn't have to worry about OSHA or EPA. It's a very business-friendly environment. But I bet even his "tax collector" uses his AK mags.
AOC, Mamdani, Katie Wilson: pay attention, this how billionaires are made, they do indeed earn their money. But you need that start-up capital. Gotta have money to make money. To the risk-takers go the rewards.
