I hate Hanabusa they put campaign signs in my yard without asking and they weren't that easy to take down. Somebody put campaign signs in my yard a couple years ago too even though I said no and they made a big hole in the grass.

I guess these candidates think we are dumb enough just to vote for them because of a sign. I see so much of these garbage signs. Better make target backers instead of signs for the next Muppet in Charge of Hawaii

Political signs make good backing for your target frame.

The signs serve a purpose cause its a popularity contest for most. Especially when someone doesnt know whats going on they'll vote for the name they recognize.

Looks like Ige took a surprising lead in the Governor's race. I wonder if Hanabusa will reconsider attending this event now that she is possibly losing the race. Usually the one with a big lead won't attend debates and things like this cause they have a lot to lose but nothing to gain by doing so. I'm rooting for Ige on the Democratic side cause he's actually doing an okay job running the government and is moderate on gun control.
Colleen Hanabusa’s lead fades as David Ige bounces back in governor’s race

Bad thing is Ige would have a bigger lead in Ige vs Tupola than Hanabusa vs Tupola. Tupola's doing way better than I thought she would.

With Ige vs. Hanabusa it's inept leadership vs potential for more corruption.
Hanabusa's reputation won't stand a chance against Tupuola on the West side.
She screwed over the West side and just used that as her platform -- err I mean soapbox (the cheapest kind - made out of pallets)

Hanabusa is the Hillary Clinton of Hawaii; she thinks she can win through her corporate and union friends alone.
Also, all ige has to do is correlate her work with the rail to the massive tax increases taking place, and people will hate her even more.

Wonder where her server is :shake:

Hanabusa is attending. Coincidence that she changes her mind right after the recent polls put Ige ahead. Should be fun to watch.
Congresswoman Colleen Hanabusa
Wednesday, July 25
6:30 - 8:00 p.m.
*Congresswoman Colleen Hanabusa initially declined to participate in this series, but recently contacted Civil Beat to be included.

It was a relatively small crowd, about 30 to 40 attendees.
Answered set questions for an hour then the attendees got to ask questions.
They validate parking, 1st hr free then $2 an hour. Ige is up next Wednesday then Tupola the day after.
-
Sorry guys, I got scheduled to work on Thursday so I'll miss Tupola's session. I'll still be there on Wednesday for Ige.
