I wish the Colorado town of Deer Trail had gone through with their "Drone Hunting Licenses."

They backed down on it after a while, but there was a lot of <ahem> "interest" in it.

Of course, it was all tongue-in-cheek, but if they had gone through with it, I would have wanted one for my wallet for showing-off purposes.

Certainly not to actually shoot down drones. >:D

But this Gnat Warfare thing would have been good practice.  Sure looked like fun.  I, too, grinned like a high school kid just from watching the vid.

Personally I think it would be more fun with a fully automatic weapon than a shotgun. Tracer ammo would be fun at dusk as well.

They actually do that at the Knob Creek KY machine gun shoot.  Seen videos of it.

Noticed some of the tracer patterns rose upward with each shot --poor recoil management. 

Also noticed someone firing a Dragon's Breath round.  Lotsa luck at that distance.

Nothing better than fully automatic weapons with tracer ammo at night trying to hit a real moving target. Thanks for finding those.  :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

I've attended the knob creek machine gun show and it is even better in person then what this video shows!   20mm rifles for sale... hell yeah!
