General Discussion / Re: Xring indoor range discussion
« on: April 03, 2015, 06:12:03 PM »
my fear is that the zipper mobile will get stuck again or traffic for the rail increases and nobody will be able to actually get to the range to use it.  if it were open at night I'd go but during the day time, well koko head is still open then...

If they'll drive to Country   :shake: :wtf:  :wacko:sleeping:sleeping:Laie/Kahuku)  I could probably host :shaka:
Plenty of room and PARKING  :worship:

can you shoot on your land?  if so, it would be even more fun and for me, I never buy a used gun without shooting it first.

Information for SHTF

Its gun related and a weekend project.

the funny thing is that we will all starve here in a SHTF situation.  who cares about guns and ammo, you can't eat guns and ammo!

feeding nearly a million people on an island is gonna get real interesting pretty quickly.

Ive personally not had the urge to buy any more than what i use.  I cant imagine myself personally owning 13 rifles and 8 handguns, let alone as EXTRA stuff i havent shot.

Im more into buying a few things i really want.  Never been much into collecting.

oh trust me, the guns I have bought I have always really wanted.  they aren't cheap (well some were, couldn't turn down the deal at the time) and they are fairly rare.  I'd wager some of them you have never seen before in real life.  Either way, he who dies with the most toys wins!!!

the 13 rifles and 8 handguns are the ones I have not yet shot, my collection is larger then that haha!

My search engine is upgescrewed somehow, but I did find this:

I've attended the knob creek machine gun show and it is even better in person then what this video shows!   20mm rifles for sale... hell yeah!

Buy gun and not shoot it? Incomprehensible to me.
Like having a hot girlfriend and just texting.

I would if they would open at night.  does any range open at night on Oahu?

1.  Sig P320 9MM (bought before Christmas)
2.  S&W M&P 15-22 (registered yesterday)

I have one AR and one pistol I never intend to shoot, so those aren't included.

you never intend to shoot them? I'd shoot them if I had the time to.  are you afraid the colt will break/blow up?

also i dont think they can afford a cnc machine lol, at least in the philipines, they have to hide up in the mountains and make there ends meet, the gun only costs like $100 bucks after they finish it, by the time it reaches U.S. market they go for $1000+ depending if its been used

ya gotta spend money to make money!  broke ass bitches gonna stay broke.  its a fact!

if you pay close attention the documentary, you'll see what they mean by ghost gun, i'm not talking about being politically correct, its not only dremel and file away on the serial number of course they do that too, they create a clone in danao, kinda ingenious, they will make it look like its totally legitimate with a fake serial number and actual manufacturing brand on it like colt etc..the serial numbers un-tracable no ballistics record from the company, they make a 1911 cause its a handgun, and criminals prefer something concealable over an ak unless you're cartel or need that kind of firepower to maintain whatever illegal activity there is, they have to be able to easily smuggle the gun from the philipines to the U.S. and so fourth down south of the border.

why not just grind down the serial numbers nicely, weld over it and then just punch what ever serial number you want in its place?  I don't even see why that is even an issue to be honest, I mean you get caught with a gun during a crime and you are going to prison either way.  don't matter if it is a ghost gun or not!  police catch you, they put you in jail, you cry long time...

ghost gun?  you mean any gun plus a grinder/dremel?

personally I don't understand why they do not make ak47's.  so much easier to finish a flat and make a receiver rather then a 1911.  I mean if you are going to stick with a 1911 platform, why not buy a cnc machine or a 3d printer to print them out?

what is really funny is the cop during the raid which has his semi-auto pistol right up to his eye where the slide will fly back and hit him in the eye if he pulls the trigger :)

I seem to be collecting guns (with ammo) lately and have not gotten to shoot any of my new ones.  Just far too busy to actually make the trip down to the range (I wish they were open at night).  So far I have 13 new long guns and 8 handguns I haven't shot yet and I just imported about 5 other handguns and a long gun from the mainland which haven't gotten any range time either.  I was thinking about picking up 2 or 3 more long range long guns and about 5 more handguns (not enough revolvers) to add to the collection...

How many of your new guns have you not gotten to shoot yet?

I wanna see them take it to the knob creek machine gun show, put 20lbs of tannerite as well as a 55 gallon barrel of fuel behind it and see a mini gun hit it as well as all the other fun guns to see how it stands up to full auto sustained fire...

ooo she should have had a gun.  or a knife.

how about ditching the handgun waiting period if you already own over 10 or 20 handguns and even more rifles?  I mean seriously, what is a 2 weeks wait gonna do when you already have regged over 20 handguns?

Seriously? "Hi (insert name here) I would like to know if there are any underground utilities in the place where I intend to bury my cache of ammo and firearm(s)? An underground utilities survey costs money and the onus to complete it is on the person digging. You should know what's in or under your property. You should be okay in a wilderness area with a little planning. Really how much damage can a person with hand tools do i.e. shovel, pick and post hole digger do to an underground utility which is generally in a conduit or proceeded by a layer of gravel?

some times, make that most times you can't cure stupid.  I feel sad for Hawaii when people like you are allowed to live here!  It frightens me that people like you are allowed to own firearms...

make sure you call ahead of time to make sure you don't cut in to a gas/electrical/sewer/water line!  All we need is some jack ass trying to bury his guns/ammo to either kill himself or take out the utilities to an entire block...
