I really hate these satire news sites. They post rediculous stories and it spreads misinformation like wildfire over the internet.

I hate it because its just a waste of time!
General Discussion / Re: Honolulu ranked worst city for zombie apocalypse
« on: November 03, 2014, 09:42:57 PM »
I agree with this poll, the combo of no renewable food sources, over population, ect makes Hawaii the worst prepper's nightmare and a zombies #1 destination.  Being stuck on this island is like being in a large jail.  Toss a few zombies in a jail where everyone is trapped, there is a limited amount of food, and the people are some what stupid (democrats) with no real ways to defend themselves and you will find there will not be very many survivors.
General Discussion / Re: HK VP9 sale falls through…sucks!!

meh, screw the VP9, get a Mark23!  $1600 bucks now on sale with the $200 dollars back everywhere (no rebate for the VP9)!

if you lived in a free state, you could shoot it with a can and save your hearing.

If you just want to produce 80%'s a bit more easily than a drill press, get something like the Easy Jig (uses a router).

that's pretty cool, cheap, effective, and seems like a monkey could do it.

it seems tame compared to the knob creek machine gun show.

Are the 22 shortsge over or srill going on?

pretty much over but prices are still high.
if your ftf failure to fire or feed?
Prices getting low, I don't need it, but might get it anyway.  $279.95, add bolt and charging handle for $93.00

that is a pretty sweet deal!
Off Topic / Re: Roadside fishnets donations
« on: July 12, 2014, 04:03:11 AM »
I notice that this is more frequent with children of all ages on the sides of roads asking for donations with fishnets.
When in Indonesia, I saw poor kids selling food in the middle of the highway, but not these children in Hawaii. They look well dressed and not famished in any way. I also notice that their parents have some very nice cars & trucks with shiny rims. I guess the days of selling stuff i.e. chili, cookies, etc. are gone the ways of the dodo - like my two paper routes I had in intermediate and high school. Anyone also notice how much older street newspaper vendors are?

I noticed this the other day as well and when I grabbed my gun, I had to think to myself... am I gonna have to shoot though my door if these punks try to car jack me.  Yes they are kids but they are like 200+lb kids which are bigger then I am.  Last time I felt scared in a car I was driving through Inglewood at night...  Having kids beg for money reminds me of when I was in Hong Kong and the gangs would use kids but also disfigure/injure them to make you feel more sympathy for them.  They should be arrested for being in the middle of the road while there is a crap load of traffic.  It just makes traffic a lot worst and teaches kids that not working and asking for a hand out instead of a hand up works!

cant wait to print out a few.  then again, for the price of a 3d printer, I can just buy a few receivers or a few 10/22's

I say meh to .223, I load up with 12 gauge slugs and 00buckshot.  I personally hope the guy is wearing body armor so that the slug will cave in his chest!
General Discussion / Re: Army wants a harder hitting pistol

FN Five Seven should be considered.

holds 20-30 rounds, lighter then a lot of the other guns out there, more reliable then a lot of guns out there, great flat shooting bullet (easily able to hit targets out to past 120 yards off hand) with a great reputation of stopping/killing humans, and no recoil...  what else could you want?
General Discussion / Re: Converting a 10/22 carbine to a youth size?
« on: June 30, 2014, 11:24:49 PM »
why not just do the easy and best thing by buying a knoxx axiom stock?  it is adjustable so that anyone which you would want to have shoot a rifle can shoot it, puts a pistol grip on it, free floats the entire barrel, lightens the gun by a bunch, is super cheap, adds a front sling for a bipod or front sling point,  is well built, and screws on very easily!

General Discussion / Re: What's your go to rifle and pistol?
« on: June 19, 2014, 08:05:55 PM »
From guns you currently own, if you could take only one rifle and pistol into a SHTF/TEOTWAWKI scenario.

You can't carry multiple uppers, just one complete rifle and one complete pistol.

Legal and Activism / getting guns from california to hawaii
« on: June 19, 2014, 09:00:20 AM »
I have a few handguns and a shotgun stored in California and want to bring them back to Hawaii.  They are all legal there and in Hawaii and regged to me.  Thing is I'm busy and I have family members which go back and forth all the time, can I just have them check it in as luggage to bring back to me or must I travel there for the day and then come back with them checked into luggage?
