General Discussion / Re: First AR build

you are missing mags and ammo as well as perhaps a sling...  might I suggest taking a trip down to OGC tactical to pick up a few of the missing items while they are on sale.

I wonder if he had an ar15 and if so, if he had to break in it half to reload from the top of the mag while it was welded/pinned to the lower receiver...
General Discussion / Re: What would you buy?
« on: June 03, 2014, 09:58:57 PM »
I'll play.

$500 - xd45c or m&p45c

$1,000 - ar15

$1,500 - ar15 + xd45c/m&p45c

$2,000 - ar15 + xd45c/m&p45c + xd45c/m&p45c

$2,500 - ar15 + ar15 + xd45c/m&p45c

$3,000 - ar15 + ar15 + xd45c/m&p45c + xd45c/m&p45c

kinda lame.  I think you ran out of ideas.

$500 - Glock or AR-15 or 590A1

$1,000 - HK45 variant or ar-15

$1,500 - Benelli m4 (eh, your gonna need 100-200 more bucks for this but its close enough; lets pretend its on sale)

$2,000 - HK Mark23 on the mainland with 2 or 3 new 10 round mags and shipped to Hawaii or IWI TAVOR or a FN FS2000 Tactical

$2,500 - HK Mark23 in Hawaii (might actually have to spend 3k for this one here depending on who is ripping you off) or Scar17S or possibly a Salient Arms Glock 20 (I mean if you gotta blow $2.5k, why not do it on an over priced Glock which still has a 4.5lb trigger pull with tons of pretravel...?)

$3,000 - nothing really in this price range I can think of I would want, everything seems to jump to about 5k and for that amount I'd look at the DRD Paratus or the Nemo Omen (both just for shits and giggles;  seriously, where could you possibly use either realistically?).

you should go down to OGC tactical right now to get their deal.

You aren't gonna find a deal better then that on this island!  Most of the handguns in the store are more expensive then this is!!!

cry me a river!  someone needs his mommy.

what is with the weird fake laughing?  it looks like he is reading a really bad script.

I don't understand why he has never gone to a prostitute.  He can afford a car, they really don't cost that much.  Just drive over the mountain range to vegas or reno and go to a cathouse if you wanna do it legally.
not really that much off from the guys wearing those defend Hawaii tshirts.  How many of those guys do you think will really defend Hawaii against anything other then a big mac?

The newer models is under the 50 oz rule. Those can be registered.

very cool, knowledge is power!
I got a technique, its called a 5.56 coming out of a barrel at over 2000fps headed towards the other guys head followed by 29-30 of his buddies...
I don't think Hawaii has the stupidest drivers, that award goes to Florida drivers.  They do have the worst drivers though.
Off Topic / Re: Boats?
« on: May 15, 2014, 12:55:34 AM »
you should really consider renting a boat rather then buying one.  even if it is a kayak or jetski, the hassle and cost of having to maintain it and haul it to the beach is just not worth it if you have ever own one before.  Just pay the little bit of extra money and rent a nice one for a few days and then return it and let the owners deal with everything else.  In the end, if you cant afford to rent one, you sure as hell can't afford to own one!

that's pretty sweet!  cant wait to see what they bring in.  They have the league program as well where you get 5%back for everything you buy.
do all banks have really bad video cameras?  I bet the people in the bank had higher resolution cameras on their phones.
General Discussion / Re: 0% lower build
« on: May 13, 2014, 03:18:58 PM »
pretty cool builds.  I couldn't do it.  no tools or time.
its amazing that these morons robbed a bank in Hawaii.  I mean how much could you have possibly gotten?  thing is your still suck in Hawaii, on a natural prison in the middle of nowhere.  good luck getting away with it...

and you absolutely right, secrets don't last long on this island.  Only way its gonna stay a secret is if one of the guys kills the other before he can brag about it and that guy doesn't say crap about it ever which is highly unlikely.
