HDF Range Day - 24DEC 2011 (This Saturday)

For anyone wanting to shoot on Saturday, HDF will be out there at one of the action bays this weekend. Most of the people will be doing handgun, but you are more then welcome to come and shoot whatever you like.

You must be a member of HDF to shoot (insurance).  Feel free to contact us me for more information.

please excuse my ignorance,but what exactly goes on at event like this?  I've only been to the silhouette and rifle side.

It's more practical shooting.

Not like the 50 yards away silhouette range.

Most targets are 15 yards or less away with an emphasis on proper gun handling and fast follow up shots on multiple targets.

We (all clubs + city and county)  are currently setting out schedules and stuff for all the shooting clubs.  I will know more in about a week or so.  Next year, we are being hit with a $15.00 a hour fee, so in the future it will probably cost a small fee to come shoot for the day. Regardless, it's always worth it. Side note, the donation would be a tax-deductible contribution :)

Yes on the holster!  I'm hoping to get to run some good drills...

Anything people want to do, or want to try, we are always open to suggestions.  I know from other experiences, some people like to do what they want -- so it helps to have others bringing some fresh ideas.
